👁️✨ Empowering Communities in Karongi!
From October 27–29, 2025, RWAMREC, in collaboration with FHF, conducted a training for MenEngage Club representatives from six sectors of the Karongi District.
Participants deepened their understanding of gender equality, eye health, and disability inclusion — learning that family development grows stronger when men and women share household responsibilities and challenge traditional gender roles. 💪🏽👩🏾🤝👨🏽
They also gained valuable insights into cataract prevention and treatment, and how to support community members in accessing eye care services to restore their sight. 👓
Participants expressed appreciation to RWAMREC for organizing such an impactful training that will help them promote healthier, more inclusive communities across Karongi. 🌍💙
