I know a lot of Africans/Caribbeans and I noticed they never mention their Grandparents.
They don’t have pictures of them, stories about them, rituals surrounding them, they don’t “go to grandmas house” etc.
Is this cultural or due to immigration?

Not surprised they are insulting her. You are complaining that people hate you, they give you valid reasons why they hate you, instead of ignoring or listening, you are insulting them, whereas you will never accept to be treated the same way you treat other Africans.
