When I was starting out in my career, I worked at an international firm headquartered in NYC. There were six people in my specialty group. Three male partners and three female associates. I was the most junior. The most senior associate was passed over for partner after disclosing she was pregnant with her second child. She had been with the firm for seven years. She silently had her baby, took her leave, and quit within months of returning to the office. The mid-level associate was fired within two months of returning from maternity leave. The partners refused to staff her on deals so they could claim she had low billable hours. They knew she was the breadwinner for her family, so to avoid a wrongful termination lawsuit, they offered her three months severance and agreed not to disclose the termination to future employers in exchange for a waiver of claims. Then I got pregnant. By then, our group had shrunk to four people: three male partners and me as the only associate. And right on schedule, when my chance for promotion came, I was passed over too. Like the two women before me, I could not risk being blacklisted by suing. So I quietly left, found another job, and kept what happened to myself. Workplace discrimination is real. It is devastating. And it happens far more often than people want to admit. That is exactly why false accusations are so damaging. When predatory people like @BillAckman’s “Ronda” weaponize harassment claims for attention, leverage, or a payday, they make it even harder for women with legitimate experiences to speak up. So Bill, on this one, I’m with you. Thank you for calling out this behavior for what it is.

It’s crazy to me how many Christians don’t understand the point of this tweet. He’s not saying that she should date someone she’s not attracted to. What Ryan is saying is that a bunch of women use religion as a shield to find a good man while still being just as shallow as people who aren’t religious, despite sitting on podcasts and talking about the faith and how they value things like character or what Jesus represents. When I said that every woman is a FEMINIST to some degree, this is what I meant. It’s so deeply encoded in society and their psyche that it has become automatic to the point where a bunch of them don’t even understand their own minds. This woman for example is 36 years old and an ex-escort who is now “born again.” But if a good man who is pure and true to his faith that she liked, viewed her past as a red flag, she would use the faith and the Bible to argue that she had repented and that he shouldn’t judge her. Basically, she is positioning herself in a win-win situation because you can grift easily with religion. It’s like an escape plan and a bunch of Christian men who are extremely emasculated will eat it up. So, once again, Christian women are NO DIFFERENT from liberals, openly admitted feminists, or anyone else in this regard. A woman will always be a woman, adapting to whatever society looks like.

I'm noticing that unlike British men, French men don't seem to organise or fight back much regardless of what happens. I might be wrong about this. Do I have followers in France who can clarify?

This is also one of the consequences of African immigration: our own young people assimilating in reverse into the dominant culture, even when that culture is vile, spits on France, and mocks native French victims of Islamist terrorist attacks. This girl deserves a couple of slaps from her parents.

The normalization of casual sex destroyed our comprehension of what sex is, and what it has to do with healthy relationships. Women have one reproductive strategy: high investment. Men have two strategies: high investment (which is collaborative, and has everything to do with love) and no investment (which is predatory, and is the antithesis of love). That may sound like an exaggeration, but it isn’t. The ‘no investment’ strategy of men attempts to stick a woman with a child to raise alone, or with a cuckolded partner. It has a consensual form, and a non-consensual form. Does any of that sound loving to you? I didn’t think so. For men, producing a child with a trivial effort is the ultimate evolutionary bargain. It’s something like winning the lottery. For women, being stuck with a baby and no partner is the inverse, like being maimed in car wreck. So men are predisposed to be on the lookout for fertile women who are gullible enough to go to bed with them without locking down a commitment. And women are predisposed to avoid such encounters at all costs. Or at least they were before birth control + abortion changed the stakes and the culture. Women, who have always been the gatekeepers of sex, have been lured into embracing men at their worst. And they’ve started behaving and thinking like them too. There is actually a lot of truth in the idea that “rape culture” has been normalized. Casual sex is not rape by any stretch, but it comes from the same predatory branch of the tree. And before you jump down my throat for saying that, notice just how commonplace “consensual con-consent” has become. That IS normalized rape culture. It comes from the idea that sex is a kind of play. Just like kids playing with toy tanks and soldiers, it’s harmless because the stakes are low and no one actually gets hurt. But it turns out that’s not true. Casual sex is like playing with fire. Actually, it’s worse. Many who play with fire get away with it. They may even learn how to wield it to great effect. The exact opposite is true with sex. If you play with having sex with people that you don’t love, you are damaging the very architecture you will need to form a healthy romantic partnership. Even worse if they bring the same selfish mindset to the alter and the bedroom. For young people participating in their generation’s culture, sex now IS antagonistic and predatory. Most of them don’t know there is any other kind. It’s just some story, like Santa Clause. Not only has this shift in sexual culture obliterated the tools to forge and tend a healthy marriage, but it has also broken the motivational structure that built civilization. —- Exhibit A bellow. And although I believe what she has said is wrong, exactly why it is wrong, and to what degree it is wrong, requires careful thought.

Consensual hookup culture often feels predatory to women because... it is. It preys on women's desire for monogamy and coupling and love, which many believe there's a chance of receiving even after casual sex. Frat bros around America are indebted to Alex Cooper for trying to convince so many women they can and should have sex like men. It's led to men having a lot more casual sex because women choose to have it. That norm is great for dudes, but women often end up feeling preyed upon and exploited because they experience sex differently and just can't — on average — have casual hookups so easily. Cooper preyed on women to make millions by convincing them it was normal to see sex more like men see it. Men who mislead women into having casual sex by dangling the prospect of monogamy prey on women. It doesn't mean women are helpless! And it doesn't mean non-consensual sex is anything short of horrifying and criminal. It just means there's a predatory culture swirling around even consensual hookups too, and it's really dangerous for women.
