Mastodon's new album dropped yesterday.
On it is a song called "The Vanishing". The bass intro to this song is by none other than Geezer Butler. Check this song out - the whole thing has a bit of a Sabbath vibe to it. Excellent song.
Side note, they're Pedro Howse's favorite band. Bloke keeps sending me random Mastodon tracks to listen to. hahaha. But seriously check out the track. Quite enjoyable. @GeezerButler @MastodonMusic

I know Doctor Who is having a bit of a rest right now while they figure out what to do with it going forward. May I put forth this suggestion? Doctor Geezer - the new 16th Doctor? :)

Happy 29th to Geezer Butler's 2nd solo album, "Black Science". Originally released 1 Jul 1997 as "Geezer", this is my fav of his three albums. As I know Geezer is a big Doctor Who fan and so am I, "Among the Cybermen" is a big highlight. Also love Unspeakable Elvis & Northern Wisdom (and several others). Spinning the vinyl today first on the turntable. @GeezerButler

Geezer Butler's "Ohmwork" was released 21 yrs ago today (9 May 2005 - in UK, US was one day later). An album that took me some time to warm up to, but quite love it these days.
Rebranded in 2020 as "Geezer Butler" from the original GZR moniker - have that on vinyl.

Sad to hear of the passing of Phil Campbell. We had some fun times when we toured together back in the day. A truly nice man with a wicked sense of humour. Many a laugh was had on that tour, especially when he arrived at a gig in full make-up, skirt and blouse! RIP Phil, say hi to Lemmy [please donβt wear the skirt though]! #philcampbell
