QuadRF is a phased array antenna that can see WiFi through walls, spot drones in the sky... and it's powered by a Pi 5 and FPGA board. Very neat device, we have a full video up on Geerling Engineering...

Can you receive FM radio on a 3D printer's heatbed? @repkord asked, and we tested, with some assistance from my Dad, a radio engineer! The answer is yes, and a video is here: youtube.com/watch?v=BA3_jCst…

OTA TV has a rocky road ahead: ATSC3 has a massive chicken-and-egg problem. Will the FCC mandate it in new TVs? Will DRM kill it? That, and everything else we saw and discussed at NAB 2026, in today's video: youtube.com/watch?v=uEP3E-8k…

As always, huge thanks to first responders—and in this case, to the tower climbers who were busy doing their job, maintaining the KSDK tower. I don't think "saving a guy's life by restraining him for an hour 800' in the air" is in the job description, but he did it anyway
I would not want to be a tower climber (or paramedic, not sure if they'd go up) and have to deal with a potentially-intoxicated person climbing up a 1000+ ft tower. They've been repainting the KSDK-TV tower for a couple weeks, which is why guy probably could make it to base.
