Entire country is on its arse, Minority groups are under attack by a new wave of Nazism, your Bills are going up 25%, but all you get, is wall to wall "Antisemitism" & how criticism of Israel is somehow worse than The genocide they're guilty of. Aren't you all fucking tired?!
BREAKING: A landmark government report is set to reveal the vast scale of antisemitism in English schools and colleges, Sky News can exclusively reveal. The report, written by former schools inspector Sir David Bell, will on Wednesday set out 27 recommendations to create change.

This attitude towards suicide is why people commit suicide. None of you take mental health issues seriously.
Suicide is the stupidest thing ever. Why would you permanently end your life over a temporary problem?

any other autistics ever had someone you thought was a friend who actually just secretly hated you and was taking advantage of you the entire time??

Late-diagnosed autism is realising you spent years trying to fix parts of yourself that were never character flaws. β†’ I want accommodations. I also want to prove I don’t need them. β†’ I can recall every social mistake I’ve ever made. I still can’t predict the next one. β†’ I finally have language for how my brain works. Using that language still makes me feel exposed. β†’ I understand myself better now. My body still reacts like nothing has changed. β†’ I built entire systems to appear normal. Removing them feels more dangerous than keeping them. β†’ I can see the pattern in other people immediately. In myself, it took 28 years. β†’ I know I’m not broken. Some days I still have to remind myself. β†’ I spent years thinking I was just bad at people. Turns out I was translating everything in real time.

Someone pointed out that being neurodivergent sometimes means being right about something long before everyone else catches on. Then, when the thing you predicted finally happens, so much time has passed that nobody remembers you ever said it in the first place. You don’t get the satisfaction of being acknowledged, and you don’t even get to say, β€œI told you so,” because everyone has forgotten the original conversation. It’s unbelievably frustrating.

Flirt with an autistic person all you want, but if you don’t say β€œI like you romantically,” we might file it under basic human friendliness.

If you're romantically interested in an autistic person, I cannot stress enough that you need to specifically tell them that in the most clear and unambiguous wording possible. We are like shitty genies. Unless you tell us your exact wish in perfect detail, there's no telling what dumb shit we'll assume.

Being autistic is being accused of arguing when you're genuinely just trying to clear up a misunderstanding because your brain won't let it go until everything makes sense.

We talk a lot about wanting people we can be ourselves around, but i think we should also ask ourselves whether people can be themselves around us. Can someone disagree with you without being punished for it? Can they tell you you've hurt them without having to comfort you afterwards? Emotional safety is something we look for, but it's also something we help create.
What's the hardest lesson you've learned?

Life really is short, man. Two close friends of mine lost loved ones in the last seven days and it’s almost scary to think about the fact that so many of us are at that age now where loss becomes inevitable moving forward in the not-so-distant future. Just really, really sucks.

For someone who’s been there, do not bother, it’s mentally exhausting and btw no one is busy for 4 days straight it’s bs
This is what dating an avoidant actually looks like…..She vanishes for days, then acts like I’m the problem for noticing.

You cannot convince me that somebody who never asks questions about you is genuinely interested in getting to know you.

My favourite ever Bond film. It's a masterpiece. The film score/ music, the stunts, the poker, the fact Daniel Craig comes in and brushes off the misogynistic Bond of pasts by being vulnerable, in love, human, principles etc. The story line. It's one of my top 5 confort movies 😁

Repeat after me: I am no longer tolerating inconsistency, mixed messages, or a lack of communication. If someone wants to be in my life, they need to be consistent, honest, and communicative. Anything less is no longer an option.

Have experienced this twice. No need for a third (once was enough). I don’t hate people who are avoidant. It always stems from deeper wounds typically. But their inability to see the harm and hold themselves accountable is why it’s not worth hoping they’ll change.

Words that aren’t matched or aren’t backed up by actions fuck with my head so much. And yet. Here I am again. Even though I should know better.

After weeks of rioting in Paris no one was killed. Which technically means your child is safer attending a riot in Paris than a school in America.
