geatsc vs Node.js
How fast each one gets from launching the process to running your code, measured on a busy machine. The native binary geatsc produces is ready in a few milliseconds; Node.js spends most of its startup booting V8 first.
We ran the same TypeScript with Node.js and as a native binary compiled by geatsc. Each bar shows the speedup for that benchmark.

One component library. Every screen.
Cross-platform UI usually forces a compromise. Either the same component gets rebuilt for every target, or one generic implementation gets stretched across platforms until none of them quite feels right.
Gea opens up a more interesting problem. Interfaces written in TypeScript can run across desktop, mobile and embedded targets, but the people using those targets still expect them to behave like a Mac, an iPhone, a Windows machine or an embedded device.

"Gea Stack is built around a different idea: hardware should become programmable and adaptable at the software layer, without requiring a separate development stack for every screen, processor, or form factor."

Thank you, @waveshare00, for sharing our 3D cube demo.
The cube runs on one of their ESP32-S3 boards, and so does something more demanding we built for the same device: a fully featured weather app.
It's written the way you'd write a React app. The interface is made of components with their own state and actions, nested as deep as the app needs. The styling is plain CSS, with TrueType fonts, variables, gradients, animations, Flexbox and Grid, and it renders the same way it would on the web.
At the heart of Gea is a compiler that turns that TypeScript, JSX and CSS into C++, which is compiled into a native binary for the board. Everything on screen is rendered on the device itself, with no browser involved.
If one of these boards is on your desk, this is the kind of interface Gea can put on it.

The open work is already being broken down into concrete tasks on GitHub, so there's no need to volunteer for "the whole library." Pick something interesting, discuss the approach, and take ownership of a piece.

You don't have to port to Rust anymore. A TypeScript HTTP server just outran Rust's hyper. That's it. That's the news.
Gea Stack compiles TypeScript and node standard library into C++ ahead of time. You can even compile Hono and get 3.7x more throughput with 36x less RAM.
Meet SkyTail, our first game.
Built with JavaScript and Three.js, it runs natively on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Windows & Xbox at 4K/60FPS.
Powered by Gea Stack, it shows how far a web-native developer experience can go, from embedded devices to game consoles.

Ben bir sey yaptim… artik @Geastack ile three.js oyunlarini 4k60 olarak XBox’a deploy edebiliyoruz. Ilk oyun vatana millete hayirli olsun :)

Now you can play it online at skytail.coyotiv.com
The same game that runs on iOS, macOS, Windows, and XBox.
Introducing SkyTail, and building XBox games with Three.js and @Geastack
SkyTail is our very first game that we developed at @coyotiv. Besides how fun it is to play, the most striking feature is that it's a JavaScript game built with Three.js, compiled natively to Mac, iPhone, iPad, Windows, and most importantly, XBox, to run at full native 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
Gea Stack allows you to build native applications for embedded devices, computers, phones, and game consoles with the same familiar developer experience you know and love from the web.
