ALT 🚨TORONTO!🚨 ALL OUT NOW! Join activists at Osler St and Pelham Ave (near Dupont and Dundas W) as we shut down the rails to demand an #ArmsEmbargoNow! We are blocking critical freight infrastructure in solidarity with Gaza and to demand that our government impose an immediate and comprehensive arms embargo on Israel. The Canada-Israel arms trade RELIES on Canadian rail infrastructure to ship arms to air and sea ports for transfer to Israel, and uses rail lines such as this one to ship parts to the U.S., which are then incorporated into weapons systems before also being exported to Israel for use in their genocide. Unacceptable! This blockade joins actions that unfolded yesterday across so-called Canada and around the world, aiming to block the arteries of capitalism and disrupt business as usual in a global economic system that is facilitating Israel's genocidal campaign on Gaza. SEE YOU THERE!
