My oil portrait of HIM Emperor Haile Selassie I. Bath Spa University commissioned it as a gift to mark 90 Years of Ethiopia in Bath. VC Prof. Georgina Andrews will present it on 16 October to Fairfield House, where Emperor Selassie lived during exile, 1936-40.

Good to meet @EurostarJustinp in person. "Without work," writes Balzac, "the ship of life has no ballast." Justin tweets about being a €* train manager. Insight into another's work is always interesting.

Nice to see mention of Bill Styron. Thank you, @JoyceCarolOates.
Chippenham @LibDem candidate @SarahGibsonLD is local to the area. She thinks independently & internationally. She knows & communicates the importance of returning to the EU. She will work in the interests of her constituents & the country. She will be a truly excellent MP.
#Pointswest yesterday put the Chippenham constituency as a likely win for the @LibDems come the next election. From talking to people locally I know we can! Get in touch if you want to be part of the change. @JudeHoldenNews
