Join me in this ever growing thread of lessons in the Bible, this thread will be a collective of notes from my Bible Study! (Sorry for any misspellings or bad hand writing, I usually don't have a clipboard)

Dear Christian's I've not come with the usual "God is control so don't worry" though he is, and yes don't worry.
Instead I encourage you to pray for the newly elected politicians; pray that God opens their eyes and ears and unhardens their hearts so that they may serve him.

We'll have full election results breakdown / reaction on next Live Free episode, but some quick thoughts...
1) The Sovereignty of God over all things is a deep comfort. As the old Christian saying goes, "I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow."
“For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm! God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne.” (Psalm 47)
2) It is sad and grievous. Romans 1 says God’s “passive wrath” is when he “gives them up” to their sin and evil desires – when He stops restraining a people from destroying themselves and lets them have the evil things they want.
The United States intentionally chose things like max-boosting infant murder up to the moment of birth, legislated sexual perversion that will wreak havoc on a rising generation, the expansion of Islamic influence on our nation, elected leaders openly hostile to Christianity, and in at least 2 cases (TX and Kansas) chose what the New Testamant would define as (and I do not say this lightly or flippantly) demonic, apostate false teachers to lead them.
This is an example of Romans 1 playing out before your eyes.
3) There is no political solution to a spiritual problem. Politics cannot fix what politics did not break, and Mankind was broken long before any political system.
The hope of the world has been and remains Jesus Christ, reformation and revival in our nation that has the ability to reach inside the chests of men and women and make them new men and women who want (and vote for) new things.
Christ is the only way out of the chaos.
4) Important lessons to be learned for conservatives. Wisdom would not be to blame *everything* on "dumb / evil voters."
Basic leadership: "Face the brutal facts (learn and adjust), maintain unwavering faith."
5) Sadness is ok, but despair is a sin. "Therefore, we DO NOT lose heart" (2 Cor 4:16).
Head up, chest out, knees down, glory up... do not grow weary in doing good, we build and fight (Nehemiah).
What are we going to do? Get up with joy in our eyes, love in our hearts, steel in our spines and keep assaulting heaven for an outpouring of God's Spirit, sharing Christ, planting churches, making disciples and deploying them in all areas of society in eager anticipation of the next Great Awakening in our land.
Tomb's still empty, y'all :)
6) We do what the people of God have always done in time of need: WE PRAY.
See you at Encounter tonight at all Lakepointe campuses at 7pm, doors open early for you to come and "pray for the prayer meeting."
As we come upon a new era in America, it is wise to learn about the forces behind the shift; the barbarians are already in the city.

Hush now, I shall swear by it.
Now is the time to be silent,
Not to fester or riot.
Let the enemy stumble and fall,
But do not laugh at them at all:
For they now face the king in open combat,
He will win I am sure if that.
So take heart to remember this thing-
Jesus is King.

Do not despair.
"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed. Persecuted, but not abandoned. Struck down, but not destroyed."
2 Corinthians 4:16
The chapter I read through tonight was 1st Kings 19
It is no coincidence that my first reading of it and it's contents (which I have never read before) fell on tonight.
No with God there are no coincidences.
Go now to pray, kneel before your bed and pour your heart out to God.
God did not leave Elijah to despair; regardless of how things look or may appear-
God will never leave you nor forsake you.
Neither the Republicans or Democrats realize what is at stake here; they have bent the knee to Mammon and Baal.
Lord may your judgement be firm, but may it be swift.
America has been a secular Hell hole for too long, God is preparing something big.
But be not afraid...
God is allowed to punish nations as he see fits; all who have turned away from God and towards sin:
- In Europe, the foreigner has run rampant.
- In Asia, disease and starvation.
- In Israel, war and devastation.
- In America, Lusting and Greed.
But fret not, God is in control.
To those who are anxious about the Election...
"Yet have I left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him" - 1st Kings 19:18
What Catholics need to understand about the Reformation is that God had to wrestle the scripture out of the oppressive Church.
The Church FAILED to spread the word of God, they fell into the sin of the Pharisees by putting their tradition on equal footing with scripture.
Nietzsche wanted the Ubermensch but Jesus had already come.
Funny how the description of the Ubermensch could be attributed to Jesus but the application of the Ubermensch could only come about in the form of the Antichrist
Nietzsche wanted his own god.
Temptations are the strongest at the end of a work week:
> Work structure is replaced by sudden freedom.
> Your thoughts are less in obedience and now "what should I do?"
> You give into laziness instead of relaxing
Stay vigilant
It is a blessing to be blocked by people like these especially for speaking the Truth.
I will not sit idly by while people like "Lesbian Messiah" try and make others feel stupid or defend garbage like the art in question.
I don't know who this "Sexual immorality" guy is but if he comes around here I'm gonna get my Dad to beat him up
