“Come on then, fire them through.” 👏🏻
When Michael Owen was caught exchanging flirtatious messages with former Big Brother contestant Rebecca Jane in 2021, his approach to flirting sounded unmistakably like Michael Owen.
Owen had been married to his childhood sweetheart, Louise, for years when details of the messages became public.
According to Rebecca, their conversations started innocently enough before becoming increasingly suggestive.
Eventually, Owen reportedly asked her to send him revealing pictures.
And his opening line? Absolutely zero romance. 😭
🗣️ “Come on then, fire them through.”
“It’s a long boring trip to London, so I need something to do.”
“Leave nothing to the imagination.”
Rebecca eventually sent him the photographs, and Owen wasted no time responding.
🗣️ “Tremendous, by the way.”
Then came the follow-up question:
🗣️ “Falsies?”
😭😭😭
Rebecca decided to take the conversation a little deeper.
🗣️ “What do you like about me?”
For a moment, Owen delivered an answer that sounded surprisingly romantic.
🗣️ “Your past…Your present…”
You could almost believe he was about to deliver a beautiful declaration of affection.
But no.
Michael Owen immediately returned to being Michael Owen.
🗣️ “Your photos with your tits out.”

🚨 OFFICIAL IRAQI FA STATEMENT: “Dundee United Express Interest in Cooperation with the Iraqi Football Association
In one of the first signs of growing international engagement following the announcement of Hudl Wyscout’s official partnership with the Iraqi FA, Scottish club Dundee United have expressed their interest in establishing communication with the federation to explore opportunities for cooperation that would benefit Iraqi football and strengthen ties with Iraqi supporters.
The Scottish club, which has Iraqi players Zidane Iqbal and Dario Naamo among its ranks, has witnessed significant engagement from Iraqi fans across its official social media platforms. This has been particularly noticeable since Iraqi international Zidane Iqbal joined the club during the most recent summer transfer window, alongside growing interest in Dario Naamo following his previous call-up to the Iraqi national team.
Dundee United’s management expressed their delight at the overwhelming engagement from Iraqi supporters and the noticeable increase in Iraqi followers across the club’s social media accounts. The club also expressed interest in exploring joint ideas and initiatives that could further strengthen this relationship and make use of its growing Iraqi fanbase.
This development represents one of the positive outcomes of the Iraqi Football Association’s efforts to strengthen its international connections with football institutions and clubs worldwide. Through developing international partnerships and expanding opportunities for cooperation, the federation aims to support the future of Iraqi football and strengthen its presence on the international stage.“

Welder I worked with said his mate he hadn't seen for a while was a fighter pilot and one time he flew passed him as he was driving on the motorway, the pilot started pointing ahead and pint gesturing so they pulled into next town for a few pints and a catch up
The wee Tory cunt from Dens Park Choir probably celebrated this. 😃

The lad unintentionally explained the exact mechanism of how sportswashing works😀
The core strategy of sportswashing isn't to buy a club and run it poorly or purely for ego. The strategy is for a state linked actor to use vast wealth to do a boss job of running a club and uplifting the surrounding community. By supporting thousands of jobs, building world class venues, and delivering relentless sporting success, the ownership successfully purchases the fierce, unshakeable loyalty of the fanbase and the local government.
Once that deep goodwill is established, it acts as a powerful geopolitical shield. When international observers criticise the UAE's human rights record, or when the Premier League investigates the club's financial practices, the ownership barely needs to defend itself. An entire army of fans and local stakeholders will step up to defend them, because their daily lives have genuinely been improved by the state's money. The "washing" is successful precisely because the local investment is so undeniably good.
