Despite its infrequent use, in this meta-analysis we found the use of ultrasound to guide transradial access improved success rates overall and faciliated access in 3/4 of those where palpation guided access had failed. Should we use it more often? doi.org/10.1016/j.hlc.2024.0……

Radial artery bypass grafts stand the test of time, with lower MACE at 15-years compared to both the SVG and free RITA. Should we be avoiding transradial access in some circumstances in the cath lab to preserve the RA for use as a CABG conduit?

In patients with prior CABG, RA graft PCI appears better tolerated then SVG PCI and a viable alternative to native vessel intervention if anatomically suitable. @JACCJournals jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.jcin.…

🇦🇺 study demonstrating excellent safety of PCI in stable CAD. Also, prox LAD PCI did not confer a higher risk of MACE. Excellent summary in @thelimbiccardio Congratulations @GarryHamilton6 @JulianYeoh1 @drmatiasyudi @Austin_Health sciencedirect.com/science/ar… – at Manhattan, NY
A large proportion of patients with STEMI present without Pre-hospital notification and have longer ischaemic times. Systems of care tailored to individual health networks must aim to maximise efficiencies both for those with and without PN.
