I'm in Orlando this week for the Southern Baptist Convention, which has me thinking about Baptist identity, and connection to a denominatonal tradition. Dallas Willard was ordained in a Baptist church in 1956. He spent the rest of his life as a philosophy professor who worshiped across half a dozen traditions.
