The argument for Duncan is his longevity. His peak was like an A- but he was near that level for 18 years. Ranking a player is based on peak AND longevity. Your lack of understanding seems to be rooted in viewing it with a limited scope. By your logic Walton is in the top 5
I never get why people rank Duncan over Hakeem. At their best (peak/prime) Hakeem was better on both ends than Duncan was. Unless you really prioritize accolades which requires positive org context, I don’t see the argument against Hakeem.

Look up Browns vs Jets from 2022. Nick Chubb was in the exact same position and scored. The Browns lost the game.
I was gonna chill but everyone was on my dick about saying they’re gambling, you telling me if he scored that wouldn’t have iced the game too? Up 11 (maybe 12) 2 mins left, no timeouts, the Miami dolphins personnel? man stfu 😂

Bad clock management is not a valid criticism IMO. Yes it’s 3rd down so you can say they don’t need 14 seconds to run two plays, but penalties can happen that give automatic first downs. If that occurs, stopping the clock immediately would allow three plays (including the kick).
The #Cowboys coaching staff completely blew the end of the Ravens game #Dallascowboys

Insane how stubborn people are and they think they can just say stuff on the internet about a short document that is easily accessible and refutable.

Describing what Morris did as “hard but normal” is insane. It was a dirty play. Did Jokic overreact and make an even dirtier play? Yes. But let’s not pretend like what Morris did was anything other than a chance to get a cheap shot in.
Jokic responding to a hard but normal take foul with a move that basically ended a dude’s career is so wild

When a former boy/man transitions to become a girl/woman, they are exactly that: A girl/woman! By denying their new gender/identity, you are denying the existence of transgender people and their right to live a life with equal rights to the rest of us. So yes, you are a bigot.

If its women's sports how is it bigoted to want ONLY women to participate in said sports?

There’s no WAY you included playoff 3PT% in this tweet
Denver restricted free agent Spencer Jones has agreed to a two-year, $12 million offer sheet with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Adam Godes of ADS Sports tells ESPN. Jones was a key contributor for the Nuggets last season, including an NBA-best 69% from 3-point range during the playoffs, and now is ready to conclude chapter in Denver to move onto OKC.

The loss for ENG is on Tuchel. Prevent defense for 29 minutes is rarely going to work when ARG has an all out attacking unit & brilliant crossers. ENG could’ve also won by scoring another goal. They have great counter attacking personnel if they actually made progressive subs.

To generate good offense in the NBA you need to do one of two things: 1) Have a player play one on one & create separation for a shot or draw a double team. 2) Have a player utilize an on or off ball screen to either create separation for a shot or draw a double team. 1/2
Replying to @AndrewDBailey
Fair question. Still flawed though. There’s a reason most of those players don’t get 36% usage in the first place. Unless you want to see Derrick White and his 39% FG get more usage % lol

If your team lacks a player that is capable of having a 30+% usage, which also implies you don’t have a player the opposition has to seriously react to/game plan for, your team is likely going to have a hard time generating good or even mediocre offense.

I’m seeing a lot of “Jaylen Brown is a net negative player” commentary because his on/off numbers are bad. On/off just indicates whether your team plays better or worse with you off the floor. His actual net ratings over the last 8 years: +6.4 +9.3 +8.0 +4.6 +9.8 +1.9 +6.6 +0.7

Guys that are capable of making All NBA teams & are top 30 players in the league are gonna get paid. Every playoff team needs guys that can score one on one, even at middling efficiency, & they need players that can defend other stars in isolation. He does both of those things.
Replying to @GarrettBugay
Once you acknowledge he isn’t an engine, the prospect of that next contract becomes really unappealing. You just can’t pay dudes that much for average-ish efficiency volume scoring if they aren’t an engine or a defensive anchor. If argument is better trade was out there, fair.

You understand that the Tatum/Brown both on minutes are generally going to be against other starting units? +6.9 is not great but it’s perfectly solid. And the minutes where only one of them are on the floor are better bc those minutes are typically against opposition reserves?
Except, if we look at the 2023 to 2025 data where he was in that role? We see the same issue.
