I used to have a colleague at Carphone Warehouse (shudder) who regularly used this “if you spend more you can save money” logic
In comparison, PPE Medpro prices were very competitive at £4.88 per gown rather than £11.95.
It saved the taxpayer tens of millions.

The gowns Michelle Mone sold were deemed non sterile and not fit for any purpose by the department of health. The government would therefore have lost money and not saved it like the post suggests.

I’m forever grateful for the lucky break I had meeting Ant & Will at that stage of my life. The belief & platform they gave me was 1 of those things that you can’t plan for or take for granted.
All I had to do was make the most of the opportunity, which is maybe why I feel so fortunate to be doing what I do today.
