The red wolf is the world's most endangered canid. Once common throughout the southeastern US, they faced extinction by the 1960s due to killing programs + habitat loss. 14 wolves found along the Gulf coast of Texas + Louisiana became the founders of the captive breeding program.

I found a bound copy of my senior project from college. This collection of short stories later became The Hate U Give. Peep the title though. I totally forgot that’s what I named it. 🤯
