I cannot imagine the pressure our President is under. I wish him wisdom and knowledge his country is behind him.

🇺🇦🇺🇦 What a disgusting display of boorish bullying by Trump and Vance. Infantile and degrading for them and for the US.
There is only one aggressor and one victim in this conflict - and we must stand even stronger with Ukraine. 🇺🇦🇺🇦

Christmas is saved! A huge

Proud to speak in the Lib Dem debate about bereavement benefits and kinship care. I spoke of my own experience and the lifelong difference this benefit made to me and my children.

It’s #BackBritishFarmingDay today - when we show our support for the vital and often thankless work our farmers do to feed the nation.
We have some amazing farmers in South Devon who need the support of government. I and my @LibDems colleagues will fight for this.

Government funding for hospices is failing to keep up with rising costs.
Most expenses are covered by charity donations, which is unsustainable.
Hospices want to support the NHS more, but they need fair funding to do so. It's time for change.

Disrespect doesn’t just make people feel bad. It leads them to perform worse.
Evidence from medical teams: Even a single insult decreases the quality of diagnoses and procedures. Rudeness disrupts focus and undermines collaboration.
Civility is not optional. It’s vital.
