🚨NAKED SHORTING IS A NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT...
Just ask @GenFlynn @laralogan.
After years of playing it their way, the CEO speaks out!!! Next Bridge Hydrocarbons CEO Greg McCabe tells the story behind the BIGGEST FINANCIAL CRIME of the century. So big, "nobody knows what to do".
If nothing is wrong, what is the share count?

Full interview W/ @GoingRoguewLara: youtu.be/kldHuo8ZGxo?si=9jEP…
Naked shorting was sold to the public as a CONSPIRACY THEORY.
It was not.
It became a way to grind companies down and cover up POOR RISK MANAGEMENT.
The mechanics live in MARKET STRUCTURE: locates that never become real shares, fails that linger, and selling that outruns actual SUPPLY.
Regulation SHO was written to stop that. A short sale is supposed to start with a LOCATE. The seller is supposed to borrow, or have reasonable grounds to believe the shares can be delivered. Failures to deliver are supposed to be CLOSED OUT.
Market makers were given an EXEMPTION for bona fide market making. That exemption is the opening. It lets them sell first and source later. Leaving their short "naked". In practice, “later” can become NEVER.
Once that advantage is in place, price can be pressed by selling more CLAIMS than the company issued. The count on the tape stops matching the count at the TRANSFER AGENT.
Brokers are paid to send household orders in bulk to those market makers. That is PAYMENT FOR ORDER FLOW. The UK, Canada, and Australia banned it, and the EU is phasing it out, because the router is no longer working only for the CUSTOMER.
Buy orders are often internalized or sent through DARK POOLS. Sell orders are more likely to hit the lit market. The public tape can show SELLING PRESSURE even when buying is stronger.
WRAPPED TOKENS made the locate problem worse. One token was treated as one share and used as a locate. In cases that later blew up, those tokens were not backed by the shares they claimed to represent. The inventory was PAPER.
That is how SECURITIES SOLD, NOT YET PURCHASED can run into the HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS across just a handful of firms. The trade is booked. Delivery is deferred. RISK sits off to the side until it can’t.
Some of the firms that ran that book already FAILED. Overleverage does not stay theoretical forever.
The usual story after that is that HOUSEHOLD INVESTORS caused the damage. That story is useful. It points away from selling what was not secured, then using routing, exemptions, dark venues, and wrapped inventory to keep the position ALIVE.
This is not one ticker. It is a PLUMBING issue. Any name with thin real float, heavy synthetic supply, and persistent fails can be run the same way.
Household investors did not invent the locate, the exemption, the dark pool, or the wrapped token. They noticed the CLAIMS in circulation no longer matched what could actually be delivered.
The public case is simple. If a share is sold, it should be delivered. If a locate is claimed, it should be REAL. If a market maker exemption is used, it should be for making a market, not carrying an unending SHORT.
A free market needs SETTLEMENT, ACCOUNTABILITY, and real SUPPLY against demand. That is PRICE DISCOVERY.
#NakedShorting
ALT Circular diagram titled “How extra supply presses price.” Five steps: 1 PFOF, household orders routed to market makers; 2 Exemption, market maker sells first and sources later; 3 Fail to deliver, the sale is booked but the share is not delivered; 4 Extra supply, claims on the tape exceed real shares; 5 Price pressure, synthetic selling hits the lit market and invites more order flow.

Thanks @annvandersteel for this video. There is no immunity from fraud. In the MMAT BK case, the trustee has subpoened and the judge agreed that trading records from FINRA and NASDAQ need to be turned over. If the information is damning, I expect the trustee to push further for emails and comms to establish who was responsible and who potentially colluded. As the expression goes, "We'll See".

THE INVERSE OF PUMP & DUMP
In the latest episode of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, Lara sits down with Greg McCabe, chairman and CEO of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, as he breaks more than three years of public silence about the battle surrounding MMTLP and Next Bridge.
McCabe details what he alleges are serious failures in the U.S. financial markets, including naked short selling, unauthorized trading, counterfeit shares and the FINRA trading halt that affected roughly 124,000 shareholders.
McCabe explains what he calls “short and distort” — the inverse of pump and dump: profiting from a falling stock while negative information is used to undermine confidence in a company. Lara presses him on the role of regulators and what these practices could mean for everyday Americans invested in the stock market.
The episode examines the MMTLP controversy, the actions of FINRA and the SEC, the billion-share allegation, broker-dealer settlement issues and McCabe’s call for greater transparency and accountability.

Greg McCabe, chairman and CEO of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, breaks three and a half years of public silence on the extraordinary failures of U.S. market regulation and blatant corruption at FINRA and the SEC. McCabe describes unauthorized trading of company shares, massive naked short selling, and a devastating FINRA trading halt that froze assets of 124,000 shareholders. Despite receiving SEC approval for share registration after three years, short sellers have refused to settle. McCabe calls for transparency, accountability, and government intervention to protect retail investors.

Anson tried to buy shares in TRCH and shares in MMTLP. I also believe they tried to buy shares in MMAT. @palikaras has more color on that. I flat turned them down when I was CEO of TRCH as I knew they were short. They offered NBH a pittance so they were turned down there too.

Last night’s Space with @nbhydrocarbons CEO Greg McCabe, @annvandersteel, and @laralogan was the preview.
Friday is the full #MMTLP interview with Lara and Greg, and everyone should tune in, even if you never owned the stock (trolls are welcome too).
Because the legal filings are the part that do not need a microphone.
If even a small part of what is alleged in the #MMAT Trustee’s complaint against Citadel, Anson and Virtu (who fought tooth and nail to NOT deliver their trading data/record) and what the litigation and discovery process may now surface, holds up, then this story becomes much bigger.
And I doubt those three are the only act on the bill.
In fact, around the 47-minute mark, Lara says it directly: this is impacting an “extraordinary number” of U.S.-listed companies.
She is absolutely right to raise that point.
Because if that is true, then this is not just one shareholder grievance or one unusual market event.
That is a Pandora’s box the financial market system now has to confront.
And when you eventually add crypto, tokenization, and 24/7 markets into that mix... the scale of the problem becomes exponential.
At some point, the machinery around all of this needs a proper reckoning... not another wrist-slap dressed up as “industry self-regulation”, right?
The longer @FINRA’s “financial industry” appears to protect its paying members… ehhh, sorry... nearly said customers!🤣… while retail investors and issuers are left completely in the dark, the harder that model becomes to defend.
And no FINRA FAQ or stonewall can ever truly hide, reconcile, or settle the record after the fact.
If self-regulation means the club looks after the club while everyone outside it absorbs the consequences, that is not regulation. It is a membership organization with a badge.
Now here is the part people should appreciate.
It has taken more than four years to catalogue and map this market plumbing:
-10s of thousands of hours of research by hundreds of members of the MMTLP community.
-Record setting 1,000+ FOIA requests.
-Pro-bono lawyers.
-Media.
-Shareholders.
-Ethical staffers in DC.
And now AI tools...
All working, in one form or another, toward resolution for more than 65,000 families.
And in doing so, I am convinced it can also help educate Congress; so that future generations, entrepreneurs, investors, teachers, veterans, and the middle class more broadly, are better protected.
Listening to yesterday’s Space, I kept thinking... HOW do you explain the #MMTLP fiasco to someone who doesn’t know a CUSIP from a boarding pass?
How do you explain it to someone with no financial background?
-At a family dinner.
-At the bar with friends.
-Over coffee with colleagues.
-Or to a complete stranger.
No technical jargon. No alphabet soup. No market-structure lecture... I’ve admittedly inflicted enough of those on people already! 😎
Just a picture everyone can understand.
So I started placing all the actors we have come across over the last four or five years into one setting. Yes... including the trolls! (You know who you are🧌)
Let’s place all of them in one place:
an airport...
Welcome to MIA:

What is the MMTLP Fiasco???...
Shareholders fight for transparency after a series of regulatory failures trapped them and froze their assets for nearly 4 years. Evidence of counterfeit shares, lack of SEC enforcement, and FOIA revelations fuel their fight in one of the biggest financial crimes in history.

If there wasn't an imbalance in MMTLP it would've made perfect sense for brokerages to follow the original plan of sending all shares to the transfer agent.
Instead, FINRA and the SEC apparently devised a plan to hide the problem.
Look at the first MMTLP Corporate Action and compare it to the second. (image 1)
FINRA claimed that they meant to include MMTLP Sybol Deletion would occur effective 12/13/22 but what happens if you pretend they did?
That initial Corporate Action would still make no sense because it said that MMTLP shareholders with settled positions as of the 12/12 Record Date would receive one share of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons for every share of MMTLP held on the Pay/Distribution Date of 12/14/22.
How can shareholders be holding MMTLP on 12/14/22 if it was Deleted effective 00:00:00 12/13/22???
(image 2 shows what the SEC made effective... A 12/14/22 Exchange followed by MMTLP Share Cancellation)
So instead of actually fixing the fact that FINRA incorrectly made 00:00:00 12/13/22 the overall Effective Date of the MMTLP Corporate Action, they instead removed any mention of 12/14/22, and made the revised Corporate Action all about Deleting the Symbol Effective 00:00:00 12/13/22, which was a full 40 hours before the actual EXCHANGE set to take place on 12/14/22 after the close of business.
Why did they do this?
I think it's because they needed to conduct their own EXCHANGE before the real EXCHANGE so that they could hide/track the obligations with their own system of identifiers.
Image 3 shows what actually occurred on 12/13/22. MMTLP was EXCHANGED for something but it wasn't Next Bridge Hydrocarbons. The Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares weren't distributed until 12/14/22.
Don't include your personal information but feel free to share images from other brokerages showing that an MMTLP Exchange took place on 12/13/22.
There weren't enough Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares for a 1 for 1 exchange. So far Tradestation is the only brokerage that admitted so. (image 4) @VP @FBI @TheJusticeDept

⚖️In re Meta Materials Inc. Chapter 7 bankruptcy
🗄️Case No. 24-50792-gs
📆Filed September 15, 2026
⚠️Not legal advice.
The trustee is asking the court to approve the sale of two lawsuits involving alleged avoidable transfers—the Authentix and 24M cases. This proposal does not include the separate market-manipulation class action against Citadel, Virtu, and Anson. The sale has not been approved yet.
💰 Doc. 2966 — Trustee’s Motion for Order Authorizing Sale and Assignment of Litigation Claims
Trustee Christina Lovato proposes selling the Authentix and 24M claims to BaileyBridge, Inc., owned and controlled by Greg McCabe, for $250,000 upfront plus 20% of any recovery remaining after litigation costs. BaileyBridge would pay the future costs of pursuing the cases.
🔎 Significant disclosure: Lovato also has a separate tolling agreement with McCabe concerning certain 2023 transactions. In plain terms, it preserves time for the estate to consider any claims it may have against him. She says she does not believe it creates a conflict.
📄 Doc. 2967 — Declaration of Christina Lovato in Support of the Motion
Lovato gives her sworn reasons for supporting the sale. She says the two cases took substantial investigation, and McCabe’s large MMAT shareholding gives him an incentive to pursue them. She confirms that the securities-trading class action is a separate set of claims.
📝 Doc. 2967-1 — Exhibit 1, Assignment of Litigation Claims Agreement
If the court approves the deal, BaileyBridge would control how the Authentix and 24M claims are pursued, settled, or appealed. The estate’s 20% share is calculated after reasonable, documented legal and other prosecution expenses—not from the gross recovery.
⏳ The $250,000 would be due within 20 days after a final, nonappealable approval order. The copy attached to the filing has blank execution dates and signature lines.
🗓️ Doc. 2968 — Notice of Hearing on the Trustee’s Motion
Judge Gary Spraker has scheduled a remote hearing for October 13, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Anyone opposing the motion must file and serve a written response at least 14 days beforehand—ordinarily September 29, 2026, unless an exception applies.
👀 What to watch: Whether the court finds the price and the estate’s retained 20% interest fair, particularly in light of the disclosed McCabe tolling agreement. These filings state the trustee’s proposal; they are not a ruling on the sale or proof that either lawsuit will succeed.

US Courts are about to give their full stamp of approval for FINRA to unilaterally revise an issuers corporate action with inaccurate information which completely misled the public. As if that isnt bad enough, they are also going to grant them full authority to permanently halt trading based on that same inaccurate information, which is essentially granting them the authority to commit FRAUD. This will make the MMTLP situation, just the first of a long series of schemes that will unfold by an organization designed to "protect the public". Do you really think they'll never do it again? If they get granted the legal authority to create another "MMTLP" situation, they will create another MMTLP situation. US Markets, Regulators, the legal system, politicians are all a joke. A complete egg on my face joke!
