Not a problem. Steam supports this old guy. The sticks are still crummy PlayStation sticks, but it’s a small sacrifice to have the very functional 4-way directional buttons for my current play of Dark Souls II. (My hexer changes gear and items a lot more than a melee character.)

The Xbox 360 controller is one of my favorites of all time, but a game like Dark Souls that relies on precise use of the d pad (or whatever this controller has in place of one) reveals how AWFUL that one part of this otherwise top-tier controller is.

Now for an exercise in discipline/restraint/self-control or whatever you want to call it: can I sit down and play a game for ONLY 30 minutes?

I’m all about these Better Homes & Gardens ones Walmart sells. Identical to Kallax, always a little bit cheaper, and they ship for free. IKEA stores are few and far between in wide swaths of the country & they charge a lot for shipping.
