I'm leaving Twitter. I might share the occasional indie gaming review/round-up to support those devs, but otherwise, I'm done.
I'm at Bluesky now. Find me there or reach me through my Linktree. DMs still open, just in case.
Thanks all. It was fun. Keep in touch.

I'm absolutely delighted to report that this thing of beauty from @StudiodotBuild and @voldotco has finally arrived. Utterly stunning.
It's delightful to see @Billy_Basso's @Animal_Well and @LocalThunk's @BalatroGame in the dozen shortlisted titles for @GoldenJoysticks' Ultimate GOTY. Fingers crossed the fans come out in force for them.

I'm still here, but I'm not. Catch me on Bluesky for general posts; I'll still share articles here to ensure indie devs and others in the gaming community get their dues.
It was good while it lasted. Same handle there as here (@gametripperuk.bsky.social). DMs still open.
The @CallofDuty #BlackOps6 campaign is an absolute delight. It has its missteps, but it's night and day compared to the MW3 single-player from last year. Check out my review at @Forbes:

I'm very happy to report that @cozygamepals and @BlumhouseGames' Fear the Spotlight more than lives up to expectations - it's one of my favourite indies of 2024 so far.

Amazing to see @BalatroGame near the top of the list - plus @ChineseRoom, @coalsupper, @ConscriptGame, and @SFBTom/@SFBDim on this list! The @GoldenJoysticks nominations are here:

I got trapped in a lift today. Big crunch before hitting 0. I used the emergency button and everything. In the end they had to manually lift me up to the first floor inch by inch. Good fun, 9/10 experience.
GamePupper isn't very well right now. His right front leg is causing him a lot of pain. We've got a vet appointment on Monday - fingers crossed it's just a sprain.
Hats off to @crkdgg - its peripherals don't miss. Here's my take on the teeny, tiny Atom controller.

There's a lot of love for Ceefax today. I remember one night in 1996(?) when I couldn't sleep so I stayed up, watching BBC from "Close" to 6am, back in the days when they used to broadcast the Ceefax pages in order with lift music. Good times.
