This is not an unpopular opinion. Everybody who cares about the game today is feeling this. This is why we built the Universal Rating System. The sport needed a standard for what it means to be good. And we've made it accessible without parents paying $2K+ for assessments.

Unpopular opinion: Too many players have no clue what level they can play at. Parents don’t know. Most Travel coaches don’t know. Kids are spending money on showcases at schools where they have ZERO chance of ever playing. Someone needs to start being honest with these kids.
