In 1965, a remarkable archaeological discovery in Mezhyrich, Ukraine, unveiled four ancient huts constructed almost entirely from mammoth bones. These impressive structures, built with an astonishing 149 bones, date back approximately 15,000 years. They stand as some of the earliest known human-made dwellings, offering a fascinating glimpse into the ingenuity and survival strategies of our prehistoric ancestors. The careful arrangement of massive mammoth remains suggests advanced planning and communal effort, highlighting the resourcefulness of early human societies in adapting to harsh Ice Age environments. This find remains a key piece of evidence in understanding how ancient humans sheltered and organized their lives. #archaeohistories
