right so I've talked about the 115 stuff elsewhere but first I'm in the mood for some extra info before bed. Your starting base is way off. You're assuming and/or alleging that I know all of the same stuff as DO or that I'm blindly following. That's not the case. What I can be sure of for different reasons — some because of how much I've seen from the story building process behind the scenes at work, some from my own info — is that the verdict has been reached by the panel and that both parties have seen it. I have heard and am confident enough to say that City/Pannick believe there are certainly grounds for appeal. That would not be the case if there was no guilty judgement. As I've also had to point out to stop people going over the top about a clip when I was asked directly about the owners leaving (which I obviously said no to), I was talking about City's internal position well before the statement came from Al Mubarak. I've said that it is remarkably similar to 2020, in that City are not being bullish in public but are acting differently behind the scenes. It is the same stance, private and public. I also talked about why City couldn't really come out and say too much yet, which is what Al Mubarak has said himself. That's all out there on the internet for people to see for themselves. Personally I feel that it will be hard to successfully appeal a significant amount of guilty verdicts but what I can add in terms of substantial info is that the club genuinely believe they have a chance, it's not just bluster. That's pretty useful info to have, if I say so myself. On the 114 stuff, I don't know about this and have never claimed to. It is difficult for me to discuss it because of that and also because it is somebody else's stuff. What I have said about it, including in a tweet in this thread (I think) is that I would like to know, of course, what the exact findings are, and if there is only one charge that went City's way/what it is. That is the kind of info that will stay within the tight circle at City and will not have trickled down since Friday evening. It may come from the PL side, but I am guessing that things will go very quiet in that respect now. Not knowing about the 114 stuff is not the same as not knowing about the timing of the verdict, who's seen it, City's response etc. That's all fairly reasoned, I think, and I hope it helps. You can stop holding your breath now!
