How close are we to getting credit, compensation and consent to the artists, photographer, and musicians for whoms work AI used for learning data?
Has anyone ever witnessed a person seeing AI being used for the purpose of curing cancer go "AI SLOP BOO HISS" cuz I haven't.
Gonna go ahead and say this: GenAI is theft. AI as a tool for reading patterns and solving real problems beyond "Artists cost too much" is an 100% good.

I knew there was an anti-AI wave, but I didn’t realize how brutal it could get until yesterday.
One of my posts went viral on Threads, and I’ll be honest: out of the 10K comments, probably 90% were negative. Some were hateful, some were also threatening.
The good part is… the post brought me new followers and over 800K views in 24 hours, and it’s still climbing.
People don’t always realize that when they pile onto a post, they’re also helping it travel further. 😆
What disappoints me most is that this could have been such an interesting conversation.
Imagine if all those comments had been actual arguments about why people dislike AI, what they’re afraid of, what they think we’re losing, and where they think the line should be.
That would have made an incredible discussion.
I posted the same thing here on X. It performed well too, but the negativity was nowhere near as intense.
After a few hours I limited the replies to verified accounts only, and now some of the unverified people are upset because they can’t comment. 🤦♂️
