Riot told me to take down my game. I told Opus "remove their IP and make it 10x better." turns out the League of Legends part was holding it back. thanks rito
League of Spawn is Down 🚨 Opus cooked so hard Riot Games sent a DMCA. Rebuilding it on Spawn with original characters. Give me a couple hours.

having re-reviewed the SEC's recent FAQ and previous communications over the weekend, we are now of a firm belief that if their regulatory worldview persists beyond this admin (which is a big "if"): 1. ALL publicly-traded assets will converge on "value-bearing" digital tokens over time, equity may only be reserved for private ownership. every publicly-traded asset tied to a business will look more like a "pure token" than "tokenized equity" in legal sense 2. the market practice probably settles on publicly-traded co's moving their treasuries on-chain and automating investor disclosures (instead of abandoning as current interpretation suggests) - making them real-time while keeping private (e.g. via TEE/ZKP) and attesting to certain properties. No need for third-party audits or explicit filings 3. buy-backs for "real businesses" and supply/demand for networks and protocols this is a 10-20 year prediction at best with a lot of optimizm baked into it reality is current laissez-faire regulator approach incentivizes abuse and fraud, so expect a tug-of-war legislation unless the industry settles on optimal sefl regulation that promotes transparency and integrity agree with @lex_node's take below

the Silicon Valley AI delusion reminds us how we all thought there's a perfect consumer Web3 app to "onboard billions on-chain" when actually the "real world" adoption was achieved by a simple dollar-pegged token from a company half of the industry considered a fraud, and used on a "scam" chain (Tron) to help rich Chinese and Russians evade capital controls and sanctions in the same way, what we call AI will actually diffuse itself into the economy as: a) cheap slop generator for consumer, polished to perfection over time by Chinese labs b) a work suite SaaS for enterprises and vertical-specific applications, ran by US labs all agentic, of course, but still not fully autonomous whilst maybe the "real" fruits of this technology are borne by scientists who'll have another decade to bring it to reality mostly in Biotech and broader Engineering it will work out just fine and take much longer relax

The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt. If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible - but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger.

expect growing number of small/mid cap publicly-traded company CEOs to praise blockchain markets moving forward not just a meta xitter.cf/lylepratt/status/20973…
update: tracked $VIDAx pools did $32.1m in onchain volume over the past seven days. our NYSE-listed $VIDA stock did an estimated $4.1m over that same period. roughly 7.8x as much turnover onchain. $25.3m happened outside regular U.S. stock market hours. 79%. when i posted sunday, almost $5m had traded since friday’s close. that number is now ~$15.1m. $4.3m traded on labor day alone. $17.6m came from SOL and stablecoin pairs. $14.5m from community-token pairs. the holiday weekend turned out to be a pretty good demonstration of why tokenized stocks matter!

funny how - a good chunk of the RH DeFi apps look vibe-coded af - their socials posts look generated af - some of the "cracked devs" from the ecosystem we've known from the past to never have been engineers at all and yet we still haven't had any major hacks or bugs yet 🤔

THIS SH*T NEEDS TO STOP Ethereum (or any L1) is NOT a business it's an economy - i.e. platform for multiple forms of transactions $ETH is the currency price is correlated with supply/demand yes, design isn't perfect but gauging "fair" price through "revenue" is RETARDED
Robinhood Chain grossed 20x more revenue yesterday than 10 days ago. Ethereum got paid half. Aug 22: $54K gross rev Robinhood: $49K (90%) Arbitrum: $5.4K (10%) Ethereum: $248 (0.46%) Aug 30: $1.087M gross rev Robinhood: $978K (90%) Arbitrum: $108K (10%) Ethereum: $155 (0.014%) Ethereum's cut is a fixed-ish L1 data-posting cost, not a revenue share. Arbitrum's cut is a true percentage-of-revenue license. So on a spike day, Arbitrum scales up with REV but Ethereum barely moves in dollar terms. Robinhood's effective net margin rises above its baseline ~90% on big-revenue days, since one of its two "taxes" doesn't scale with volume. Ethereum is running a franchise business that doesn't scale with the store's sales.

great, very well-curated, collection, especially the phisical portion goes on to show you how much great digital art there's on Tezos and how, unfortunately, there's no value in keeping it there

Physics is going to be as cooked/cooking as math. I fed Claude an open problem in stochastic thermodynamics of the kind I'd suggest to a mathematically inclined grad student. And over a few days of back and forth, it did months of work and closed the whole problem class.

Catching skin cancer early is a home robotics problem. Melanoma is highly treatable when detected early, yet today’s screening process depends heavily on patients noticing tiny changes across their entire skin surface. This requires patients to solve a near-impossible visual-memory and registration problem. I built OpenDerm, an open-source 4-DOF robot that captures high-resolution images of the skin and uses them to reconstruct and track the skin surface in 3D over time. The best way to make skin screening truly routine is to bring it into the home. OpenDerm shows that inexpensive robotic skin imaging is possible, but the path to scale is not a dedicated screening robot in every household—it is to make skin screening one of the many useful things a general-purpose home robot can do. Read more about why I built OpenDerm and how it works here: Blog: marionlepert.github.io/blog/… Project: openderm.github.io/
