What started as an idea to give lads who’d fallen out of love with the game a home has turned into something special. The support so far has been Unreal💙 Thanks to @bunch_amateurs for making it look & feel incredible. It’s going to be a roller coaster of a journey! 🎥 #BoAFC

Just arrived in America, stopped at @texasroadhouse in Sheboygan on our way to watch the @packers got chatting to a lovely couple, both Packers fans. Went to pay our bill, but discovered they’d paid it and left without saying a word 🥹 So Kind. Only in America ❤️ #GoPackGo

Gutted 💔 We had them. The players showed incredible heart and desire, but the change in shape after the substitutions handed Argentina the initiative. We sat back, invited pressure and paid for it #England

Ilgiz Tantashev wasn’t strong enough to Ref France v Paraguay. Combined with VAR they let too much go, lost control of the game, it became dangerous at times. The latter stages of the World Cup demand referees used to managing the intensity of elite football week in, week out.

If the kick-off is moved with less than 48 hours’ notice this impacts the Players’ sleep, travel, nutrition, training & matchday routine. Travelling fans may also be left changing flights, hotels and transport at the last minute 🤷🏻‍♂️ Still watching at 7pm does sound better!

England's World Cup last-16 tie with Mexico is set to be moved to 19:00 BST on Sunday. Fifa is understood to be bringing forward the game at Azteca, Mexico City, which had been scheduled to kick off at 01:00 BST on Monday (18:00 local time on Sunday). Forecasts suggest there could be thunderstorms and heavy rain around this time, although Fifa has not yet provided any explanation.

Mohamed Hany should never have been back on the pitch after that head collision. It’s good to see he’s OK, but this is exactly why concussion protocols exist. Medical staff & Doctors have to be stronger & take the decision out of the player’s hands. Player safety must come first.

Football is brilliant 😂 Wednesday: County Cup winners. Saturday: Debating whether a football team actually needs a football kit & shin pads to play football. All I could think was that we should have all been in The Bunch of Grapes at 10am 🍺 @TheBunchSE1

Djed Spence to start ahead of Reece James at Right back? Semenyo is one of Ghana’s biggest threats, Spence’s pace & recovery speed could be crucial. James is a top player, but this feels like a game where Spence’s athleticism gives him the edge. #ThreeLions #EngGha

This day in history 6 June 1944, #DDay, British soldiers landed in Normandy alongside Allied forces to begin the liberation of Europe 🪖 Today, we remember their courage, sacrifice, and service 🫡 Lest we forget.

In my opinion not taking Cole Palmer to the World Cup is an error. He’s confident, a bit arrogant in the best way. He’s not afraid. He’s special. He should have been in that squad. He’s someone who strikes fear into opponents and doesn’t shy away from big moments. #ColePalmer
