Today, the Fifth Circuit stripped immigrants facing detention in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi of their right to due process. People who have lived in our communities for years, even decades, can now be locked away with no chance to see a judge or ask for bond. It’s a radical departure from decades of legal precedent and violates the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution, which protects everyone.
This ruling leaves tens of thousands of people imprisoned without the government ever having to say why. It is wrong, and we will keep fighting.
BREAKING: The 5th Circuit has ruled that ICE detainees with pending immigration proceedings have no constitutional right to a bond hearing, regardless of the length of their detention.
The en banc ruling appears to be 10-7.

When the next Governor of Texas asks you to come be an opener for her in the Permian Basin- you go.
Over 400 people in Odessa showed up- because they believe in a Texas that works for the people, not just billionaire donors.
I’m so ready to take Texas BACK for the people.

We’ve never been closer to taking our power back — but we’re still the underdogs in this fight.
We’re going up against a rigged system and a lot of money. We need all hands on deck.

Neil Bush, brother of President George W. Bush, says he voted for James Talarico:
“My vote was motivated by two things: deep concern about Ken Paxton's record and genuine admiration for the character and principles I see in James Talarico…
I have been a Republican for most of my life, and I still believe deeply in many traditional Republican principles. But character matters more than party affiliation. Our democracy depends on leaders who respect our institutions, tell the truth, accept accountability, and seek to unite rather than divide.
Today, I voted against a style of politics that I believe has damaged our country. More importantly, I voted for the kind of character and leadership I hope will help heal it.”
I don’t think I’ve felt this way from an ad since 2008. @jamestalarico is going to win this because he’s right. There is nothing more powerful than hope.
Go VOTE, Texas! 🔥🗳️

Elon Musk is funding Greg Abbott’s campaign while receiving $1.7B in property tax breaks and vendor contracts steered his way by the Governor.
Now, Abbott is planning on selling our beach, Boca Chica State Park, to the world’s only trillionaire.

Elon Musk is trying to buy this Senate seat in Texas.
He wants our land, he wants our water, and he wants his own personal U.S. senator. He’s trying to buy Texas.
But on November 3rd, we’ll deliver a clear message to the world’s first trillionaire: Texas is not for sale.

Texas was built by hope. By people who had no business believing — but believed anyway.
To every Texan who’s ever wondered if anyone in power is paying attention: We are taking our state back.
Because a little bit of hope is a dangerous thing.

New Talarico ad running statewide:
"Ken Paxton says, I don't have his experience, and he's right.
"I've never been indicted for fraud. I've never been reported to the FBI for bribery. I've never been impeached by my own party, and I've never given a sweetheart deal to a pedophile.
"I have a different kind of experience. I've worked with both parties to cap the cost of insulin and pass the largest property tax cut in Texas history. I'm James Tallarico and I approve this message because we need a different kind of experience in Washington."
Wow! Texas is not just in play. It is turning a long & painful tide!
Let’s go vote our 🫏 off for a fighter for working people & the next Governor of Texas, @GinaHinojosaTX!
