Roger McCreary had some good moments today, but he also got picked on a LOT.
It’s very clear who the Cardinals wanted to target.
Lions need a CB1 in the worst way. And a healthy Brian Branch.
DJ Reed was somehow nowhere near Michael Wilson on second down.
Then clearly interfered with him on third down — as Keith Abney stood there clueless, covering nobody.
Not one competent CB in a Lions uniform in YEARS.

These 2 graphics provided by JFresh really tell the story of the Red Wings. Doing everything right at 5v5 but lack any finishing ability. #LGRW
I’m shocked by an MHSAA official doing this.
Just kidding. Not one bit.
I’ve received a statement from a MSHSAA member after this incident (video below) during Thursday night’s matchup between Glendale and Kickapoo.
“We were made aware of the situation, and the official in question has been suspended indefinitely.”

I think it’s ultra disrespectful to the fans to perform like the defense has this season.
#Lions DC Kelvin Sheppard feels it's "ultra disrespectful" to his defensive unit that the perception of this year's team is that the offense has to carry them to victories. "We're gonna do our one-third here, hell or high water. Point blank period," Sheppard said.

Funniest stat I've found all season btw
🚨🚨SEVEN THINGS🚨🚨
🔹Time to put the Jaguars atop the AFC convo
🔹I've got no solution for the Eagles offense and Lions defense
🔹C.J. Stroud back
🔹Where did Rams play-action go?
🔹The Bengals *do not* need to "throw it more"

Mike Tomlin postgame on Lions: Maybe the worst pass defense in the league ... What we saw tonight ... they didn't solve their problems in any way."
I’m growing very tired of Jack Campbell taking accountability after games but doing nothing during games to play better.
Jack Campbell on Bryce Young’s big night against the Lions:
“He did a good job making his reads, and I just feel like we didn’t make our plays. It’s the NFL. When you don’t make plays, you get exposed.”
Young was 29-for-41 for 329 passing yards and two touchdowns. It was the latest ugly day for Detroit’s defense.
"It starts with the players because we're out there and we make the scheme come alive. So, honestly, you can just put it on me, put it on the players,” Campbell added.
Credit to the media — they GRILLED Campbell about the defense after the game. And Shepard’s job status.
This defense needs Brian Branch help.
This franchise then needs Brad Holmes to swallow some of his pride and trade draft capital for a legitimate CB.
He should’ve done that this week, but failed miserably.
Hey @JBrissett12, @MarvHarrisonJr, and @mikewilllyy — you fellas ready to shatter career highs next week against the Lions?!?!

One question I'd ask:
The Panthers know they have to get the ball out quick, Lions pass rush is working. So why are the DBs and LBs so passive and off at the snap? No redirection, no physicality. What's the purpose?
