Real world creators are speaking out!
AI's a rampant plague that @VRChat refuses to address. VRC promotes AI worlds & uses AI images. Until something changes, I'm stopping my efforts in VRChat translations, VRChat Wiki maintenance and Community Testers, as well as spending money on the platform. Join group NOAI.3843.
Since we have lots of mixed hardware types, the final product is currently delivered at 4K/30p: It's upscaled back to 4K as this unlocks encoder potentials when uploading to video sharing sites (We primarily use a custom PeerTube.tv instance).
"I listened to Spotify for 150,000 minutes this year!"
"I listened to it for 190,000 minutes!"
"I never turn it off, it shows over 400,000 minutes for me!"
Me: "Thanks for giving Spotify justification to raise the monthly price of Premium on the rest of us."
Charity washes away all sins.
...or sponsorships.
Yearly reminder before #PVCF25 kicks off, that @PonyCiderfest made the choice to not ban SamuDash. While that is their right to make that choice, by doing this they have actively forced parents and underage guest into an impossible and Unsafe situation, for one man and Money.

ProBot has just been hacked, presumably. A huge number of people are joining the support server and the bot has spammed “everyone hacked” on the support server.
ProBot & ProBot Prime are currently offline!
Many of my friends are on @telegram , so I got an account.
Three weeks later, the account was "frozen".
As of today, it is fully banned.
No warnings. No reasons. No response from *any* support team.
I'm now part of the over 3 million people banned this year.
The absolute "best" part about Gen-AI content is that while it is used on social media to farm likes and stir drama (people calling out the fakes), more specifically it is used to find gullible people who believe the content is real so they can be targeted for scams.
Since creating Gen-AI content is the result of generally unintelligent miniscule effort on the prompt-writer's part, regardless of the quality of the output, the most unobservant will believe it to be real content. These people are extremely easy targets to be taken advantage of.
I would like to thank the @MarylandDOT for not only utilizing mid-day construction to boost the average day rush hour time from 4 hours to just a bit under 7, but also in their assistance with helping the area achieve the worst traffic in the nation. wtop.com/dc/2025/07/dc-regio…
Very potentially would've been this weekend too. What a trip that could have been, though given the current state of the fandom (especially post-2020), BC departing in 2019 was probably for the best.
