BYU defeated that 9-4 TCU team, who just beat #16 USC, by 31 points… when TCU had their starting QB. 11-1 in the regular season with their only loss coming on the road to a Top 5 opponent. These bowl results are making BYU’s already egregious snub from the CFP even worse by the day. All because the SEC (2-5 in bowls) needed 5 bids.

Texas A&M averaged 32.6 points against SEC opponents this season. They scored 3 points at home against Miami today. An ACC team that finished 3rd in their conference. (By the way the same conference whose basement dweller beat Alabama.) Stop drinking the #eSECpn KoolAid plebs.

The ACC was so bad this year that their conf champ didn’t even make the playoff. The SEC’s leader until the final week just lost to the ACC’s 3rd place team I was told that wasn’t possible 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Because SEC games drive higher viewership, there is a financial incentive for ESPN to promote them heavily bigger ratings = more ad revenue. #espnlacksobjectivity

ESPN has a substantial broadcast agreement with the SEC, giving it ownership/access to many of that conference’s biggest games #espnlacksobjectivity

The same people who demanded that you have a vaccine ID to travel are now demanding that there be no ID for voting
Nobody ever says presenting a valid ID is an unreasonable request EXCEPT when it comes to voting. How many people: • are US citizens; and • are eligible to vote; and • want to vote; and • don't do any of the things in the left column; and • for some reason can't get an ID?

1023 the hottest year on record!

As Christmas approaches, I realize that some may have concerns and perhaps some anxiety about the future. There may be a lot of “noise” in your life: more or less constant engagement online without downtime, without time to be quiet and reflect and think, without time to look inside and discern where you are and where you should be going. You may be influenced by unrealistic expectations such as “perfection should be immediate” or “uninterrupted happiness and success should be the norm in life.” I hope you will lay aside these misconceptions, dial down the “noise,” and take some time this Christmas season—at least an hour, if not more—to reflect on the wonder and the majesty of the Son of God. Let it be an hour of reassurance and renewal for you. Take time to relax, be at peace, and see this little child in your mind. Do not be too concerned or overwhelmed with what is coming in your life. Instead, take a peaceful moment to contemplate perhaps the most serene moment in the history of the world—when all of heaven rejoiced with the message, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14).

The latest round of U.N. climate talks, known as COP28, gets underway this week, with many of the parties looking for concrete pledges to combat the damaging effects of climate change. Greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide reached new highs in 2022.
