Very best of luck to all at @TheQTonline - #news magazine for the #NorthEast featuring that rarest of things - ad-free journalism. 🙂
I'm proud to have an article in the launch issue this week. My take on @SunderlandAFC green goals.

Love everything about this @JeffAB61!
Never seen him in a kit like this before! Hear from former @SunderlandAFC skipper Kevin Ball on his honorary degree from @sunderlanduni on tonight’s Look North @BBCLN
👏👏👏 @NUJofficial.
Back on the box tonight, fronting BBC Look North @BBCNEandCumbria thanks to a pause in restrictions by @NUJofficial Still opposing cuts to BBC local radio
Good luck to all involved in the @GreatBigGreenWeek across the #NorthEast.
There's loads going on and the Week, now in its third year, gains more momentum every year.
Thanks to @ClimatepostN for the round-up of events happening around the region.

Congrats to you and @JeffAB61, @MickyBridges8! I've really enjoyed your bulletins over the course of the season.
For me, it has felt just like a couple of mates dropping in... 😉
Enjoy your close season. 👏👏👏

Just dropped the family off in #Sunderland as it begins to go ballistic crazy for @Beyonce.
It was a lot quieter this afternoon when I caught up with @billyhardy5 at the @FireStationSun to discuss the Sucker Punch stage show he's supporting next month.
I attended the launch of this @CPRE event and wish it every success.

Thanks to those who attended our ambassador event this morning at @RedcarCollege - a 'Talk and Tour' of the new Clean Energy Education Hub. 1/2
Fab post and thanks for sharing @frankie_adkins3.
I doubt I'll read anything more off the wall all week!
Worm-charming looks like one of those wacky and wonderful English traditions we love hearing about - unless this was an international worming comp? 😊🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱
Replying to @frankie_adkins3
I headed to Falmouth’s annual Worm Charming Championships anyway, and concluded that this really was too colourful to be stuck in the pitching ether. Roll on a thread about worms and a very strange Sunday… (2/8)
A very early morning start for me today but well worth the rush-hour challenges!
Super-impressed by @RedcarCollege's new £3.2m #Clean #Energy #Education hub, explained here by College head, Jason Faulkner.
Thanks to @RCAmbassadors for the invite. 👍
I'm researching an article into #pubs in the #NorthEast that have used #renewables to cut energy bills. Does anyone know of any?
It could be solar panels, air source or ground source heat pumps. It might even be hydro-power!
Either reply or message me. Thanks
Brightened up the lives of a lot of #safc players, supporters and journos, did Neville Pilkington over the years. #RIPNev
Thank you @TonyGillan2 and @SunderlandEcho for the piece on ex-Footy Echo stringer Neville Pilkington, a friend & colleague who has died aged 86.
Most #safc fans won't recognise him from the c1950s pic but he was a big part of the club mid-90s-2000s.

Good luck to you @PhilippaGoymer and all the #BBC #journalists on the @NUJofficial strike today looking to defend good #journalism in this country.
Tees picket line for the @NUJofficial strike today.
Listeners have joined the picket line and brought us donuts to keep us going, thank you!

Hi @ClemCowton, any chance of a follow back so I can DM a follow-up to today's Octopus story on windfarms? Thanks. 🙂

Fantastic video that @Tweed_Barnesy - really brings out the less glamorous side of #football #reporting.
Well done @RobLawTees, not just for the day job, but for putting together a #video which will have been a lot more work than it looked! 👏👏👏
🤔 Ever wondered what it's like to be a sports commentator for the BBC?
🎙️ @RobLawTees takes us behind the scenes...

Stevie Wonder. Surely. #popmaster
Sad to hear of Geoff's death, even though he lived to be 83 and had a full and happy life, especially with his family.
Saw him a couple of years ago and he was in fine fettle. Just one of those people you imagined would go on forever.
RIP Geoff. @SunderlandEcho. @SunderlandAFC
Sorry to report the news that my immediate predecessor as @SunderlandAFC writer for the @SunderlandEcho, Geoff Storey has died.
I always associate him with Roker Park, where it felt like he was part of the very fabric of the club.
