A tinpot bookie finally gets their comeuppance. They locked my account, withholding funds, for several weeks, while demanding proof of funds due to AML laws. When I finally got back in, I was banned 24 hours later.
How ironic that this suspension is due to AML failings.

In 2021, I had five betting shops within two miles of my front door. Today, there are just two.
An official crackdown now is akin to beating a dead horse and then charging it with loitering.
For too long betting shops had power to cluster on high streets while local people were unable to stop them.
We fought, organised and won. Now Aim to Permit is being scrapped.
