Brenda Scott Royce is a finalist for a Benjamin Franklin Award for "Angela and Lulingu: Two Gorillas, a World Apart," a story about two gorillas - one at @LAZoo and one in the @GRACEgorillas sanctuary in #DRCongo. We'll be rooting for you, Brenda!
🌱We celebrate the #women of #bunyatenge who planted trees on #internationalwomensday to help forests and people in eastern #DRC.
🦍 #WorldRewildingDay
🌄 The #gorillas in our sanctuary came to us from the wild as infants, and we want to see them roaming wild again. #Rewilding involves much more than dropping the gorillas off in a random forest and waving goodbye, so we are taking time to do it right.
Please help us celebrate our incredible DR Congo Educators and team by spreading the word! Working closely with community associations and women’s groups, our team pulled off a fantastic #WorldGorillaDay this year ❤️🦍
