current state of the GPU hardware market: A100s: some ZT systems 40GB slop still circulating H100: guy with new website has an allocation, can do $375k a node. H200: $450k B200: @GPUMart has some ready-to-ship. Besides that 🤷‍♂️ B300: what's your O-number? GB300/Vera Rubin: I know a guy running xAI Colossus. He's sending me his O-number.

B200s are basically the wife you left 5 months ago to chase the new girl in town, but you had a bunch of missed calls and long confusing emails now you’re just going home to your wife to see if you can make it work.

we're seeing some interesting movement in B200 Land there are a lot of 'orphaned' B200 orders, as AI labs rushed to the B300s. you can get ready to ship B200s for ~$460k/node (paging @GPUMart ) rather than playing SMC Gold SKU B300 roulette. B200 orders were placed in Q1 but demand subsided. Many neoclouds over-ordered. now that B300 lead times are increasing and B200 rental prices are north of $7/hr (per @OrnnExchange data + yesterday's Nebius price hike to $8.50/hr), some are rushing back to the forgotten node. where is this going?
