That recontextualizes Vision's entire sacrifice in Infinity War. If this theory holds, he wasn't simply accepting death; he was protecting the universe from what Ultron could become.

Vision didn't get nerfed in Infinity War. he let himself die in Wakanda because letting Ultron take the wheel against Thanos would have created Infinity Ultron.
go back and watch the woods scene at the end of Age of Ultron. VisionQuest just confirmed Vision never destroyed that last Ultron bot when the screen flashed yellow. he felt bad wiping out the only other being like him, so he secretly downloaded Ultron into his own head and spent the next three years keeping him locked in a mental cage.
in episode 4 of VisionQuest, the second Vision is losing a fight and agrees to let Ultron take the wheel to survive, Ultron immediately hijacks his vibranium body and locks Vision out of his own controls.
that means when Corvus Glaive stabbed him and Thanos was walking toward him in Wakanda, James Spader's Ultron was wide awake inside Vision's head screaming at him to hand over control. Vision begged Wanda to destroy the Mind Stone because he knew if he let Ultron out to beat Thanos, Ultron would take the 5 stones for himself just like he did in What If.

This is really deep. Marvel finally adapted to the 50 yr old comic retcon. Here, Vision met Jim Hammond for the first time live action. Jim Hammond is the original human torch not Johnny Storm, the 1939 android human torch. He was the very first android or synthezoid in Marvel, built by professor Phineas Horton. He can burst into flames. He fought in WW2 with Capt America. This line hits because when Ultron built Vision in avengers (1968), he didn't build him from scratch, he built him from the spare parts or remains of Jim Hammond. Same face, same android brain pattern. So Vision literally wears Jim Hammonds face... It's really crazy.
This whole season is about what is a real person vs a copy, white vision is a copy of Red Vision, Jocasta is a copy of Katerina wells' brain, Ultron is living as a copy of Vision. And now Jim Hammond shows up to say, Vision is also a copy, he's literally wearing his face.

This line brokee me. 1939 human torch telling 2015 Vision "you wear mine". 85 years of comics in 6 words. Visionquest finally did it🥺.

DO NOT LET THIS NIGGA DISTRACT YOU. VOTE BLUE.
Donald Trump tells Fox News on election morning that the U.S. is cutting off the $4 billion in aid they provide to Israel at the end of this year:
“Because they don’t need it. Why should we suffer the slings from lunatics like an El-Sayed when they don’t need it? It’s a bad talking point. Israel’s our number one, we give them more than anybody else and they no longer need it. We’ve been doing it for years — I’ve been doing it. But Israel’s a very thriving country, they don’t need it. If they did need it, I would say keep it going — but Bibi Netanyahu, we reached an agreement on that. And can I be honest with you? He brought it up. He said, ‘I think it would be appropriate if we did not receive aid.’ Because he understands that this is one of their points of contention — Israel’s been a great ally. Much more reliable than most.”
the fact that he was subconsciously always ready to be a father but didn’t even know it until it was too late 💔

This just reminded me, a student told me the other day, his chapter gave him a cane with no stripes because he opted out of getting his ass beat. & I was like, & you still pay dues? Then I had to have conversation with a 20 year old about self respect
Yes I felt so bad for him.
One interesting thing about bryan's story is that he's not meant to survive, and that's what makes his character so tragic.
His entire story feels like a side quest you'd discover in a document while playing as leon or claire. He gets infected early, leaves a recording for his girlfriend, and unknowingly delivers the ingredients for a potential cure.
Maybe that's the point. we're not watching the story of a hero trying to survive raccoon city. we're watching the tragic origin of a monster.
