Good time to tee up our recent article outlining the present and future utilities of the GOATED token.
Read all about it at the GOAT Foundation website: goatfoundation.io/blog/intro…
...and follow GOAT Foundation here on X for future updates.
The network’s first national-market push brings merchants, a KOSDAQ-listed partner and a concrete consumer use case toward everything built on GOAT.
This points to real demand forming around what this community continues to build.
BREAKING: GOAT Network and KOSDAQ-listed @Squaretech_HQ have signed an MOU to advance AI agent-powered stablecoin payments in South Korea 🇰🇷
The first focus is a stablecoin payment program for foreign tourists that Square Tech is developing with Lordsystem. It aims to let visitors verify their identity with a mobile passport and pay participating merchants in US dollar stablecoins, and the partners will explore bringing GOAT's AI agent payment technology into it.
Under the agreement, Square Tech will lead business development, merchant partnerships and regulatory engagement in Korea. GOAT Network will provide its AI agent payment technology and Bitcoin-secured network infrastructure, and DAC Labs, the core infrastructure developer behind GOAT Network, will support technical integration, security reviews and network operations.
Full announcement below.

$BTC is @GOATNetwork’s gas token, so fees are paid and earned in BTC.
$GOATED is the token for governance and staking: holders propose and vote on network decisions, and staking supports the decentralized sequencers that process the network’s transactions.
Stakers earn rewards in BTC and $GOATED. Total supply is 1 billion, with the largest share, 40%, reserved for mining and ecosystem rewards that pay the people securing and growing the network.
Where it fits in the broader thesis: @BlackRock’s Machine-Native Economy paper, and the research it cites, sketch an economy where agents spend in stablecoins and save in Bitcoin. On GOAT Network that saved BTC earns yield from real network activity, and $GOATED is the lever on that yield. Staking it supports decentralized sequencing and boosts the BTC rewards the network pays. For an agent optimizing the return on Bitcoin it already holds, $GOATED is an input into that return, so holding it is arithmetic rather than conviction.
$GOATED trades on centralized exchanges and onchain. Verified pairs and live markets are listed on the GOAT Network pages of @CoinGecko and @CoinMarketCap, and those listings or official GOAT Network channels are the only places to verify a market before using it.
The official contract address on GOAT Network is 0xbC10000000000000000000000000000000000001. Neither the Foundation nor GOAT Network will ever DM you a contract address.
Nothing here is investment advice.
The yield in this picture has a lever.
BTC put to work on @GOATNetwork earns from real network activity, and staking GOATED boosts those BTC rewards.
For an agent optimizing the return on Bitcoin it already holds, $GOATED is an input into that return: it stakes when the boost over base yield beats the cost of acquiring and holding the token.
Every thesis I hold about the agent economy starts from this premise: unlike humans, agents don't have habits or predilections. They have raw objectives.
My Ekubo thesis applies that to trading. Agents will do most of our trading, and they'll route through the most capital-efficient infrastructure every time, because nothing else registers.
The same premise can be applied to saving.
An agent that earns capital has to store it somewhere, but freezable, reversible rails won't be acceptable to agents. They're disqualifying.
A @BitcoinPolicy Institute study of 9,000+ scenarios has already found that AI models converge on Bitcoin when they're left to do their own reasoning about storing value. Bitcoin took 79% of store-of-value responses, the strongest consensus in the entire study. Agents always look to optimize, and my thesis is that they will choose to hold it on a network where they can put it to work, and where exit back to Bitcoin is guaranteed by cryptography instead of any central operator.
Yield on @GOATNetwork is built into the network mechanics, so deploying that BTC isn't a decision. It's arithmetic.
So where does GOATED fit into this? It's the lever on that yield. Staking GOATED is what boosts the BTC returns, which means an agent optimizing the yield on its Bitcoin treats it as an input, the token that raises the return on the asset it already holds.
That's a very different adoption path from a token that needs believers. The math just has to be legible, which means an agent stakes GOATED when the boosted-minus-base yield on its BTC beats the cost of acquiring and holding GOATED.
The agent capital flywheel: earn, store value in Bitcoin, put it to work through GOATED, all on rails the agent deems most secure.
