hello dumbos,
no part of btc "encryption" is at risk anytime soon. same fud as always.
IF that changes at some point we'd get AMPLE notice with practically infinite low hanging fruits being harvested LONG before any part of bitcoin's mechanism becomes in any way at risk.
examples of "low hanging fruits" (compared with btc):
- the internet no longer working
- most countries civic systems no longer working
- many countries military systems in disarray
- many power grids unusable
- and so on and so forth
in other words, chaos everywhere, martial law, food insecurity, social unrest, you name it.

Marriage is hard.
Divorce is hard.
Choose your hard.
Obesity is hard.
Being fit is hard.
Choose your hard.
Being in debt is hard.
Being financially disciplined is hard.
Choose your hard.
Communication is hard.
Not communicating is hard.
Choose your hard.
Life will never be easy.
It will always be hard.
But we can choose our hard.
Pick wisely.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And - which is more - you’ll be a Man, my son!

i asked what changed fundamentally and you mentioned 3 things:
1. two entities being in bitcoin (saylor + blackrock)
2. elderly normies asking you about btc at the top
3. 1that deflation "will start ramping up"
ok. let's address these points:
1. how is this entity or that entity owning bitcoin changing anything FUNDAMENTALLY for bitcoin? how was that not something already present throughout the history of btc? i remember similar narratives in the past. concentration of custody is a real problem - whether is through a public company (mstr), an etf (blackrock), or cexs. it IS a problem for bitcoin, just not a NEW fundamental change.
2. people asking about bitcoin at tops is a normal phenomenal and has happened throughout its history. nothing fundamental about that.
3. deflation happening could indeed change something fundamentally about bitcoin if that would mean the end of the debasement of fiat currencies. however that isn't somehting that HAS CHANGED. it's something that i guess could happen theoretically in the future - not an answer to "what has changed fundamentally.
cheers

when (inevitably) your friends & family ask you about bitcoin again just explain this simple data point:
NO ONE who's dca'ed into btc for any length of time has EVER lost money. even if they started dca'ing at the pico top of a cycle.
then tell them that more than 95% of all btc that can EVER be issued has already been mined.

oh? everything is higher? do you understand now why we don't care about the "federal reserve" (which is not federal and has no reserve) or the "clarity act" (which is muddy by design).
