Sad to hear that James Chance has died. What a legend. One of my old bands was lucky enough to support him and his band Les Contortions above a sushi restaurant in Manchester in 2007. They were incredible. Matt.

First you do a year's unpaid national service, then you accumulate £60,000 of student debt, then spend a few decades handing over half your pay packet to a landlord before retiring on the worst state pension in Europe. That's the Tories' 'retail offer' to young voters.
REALLY excited about this one!
We are taking over @CobaltStudios_ on 1 June for a mega dance party featuring two of our current faves, Sunderland synth pop duo CHAT, and @narrradio co-founder, journalist and DJ, @safi_beee aka Babyschön.
Tickets at @eventbrite
It's @Bandcamp Friday today. Small investments in artists/bands you like can go a long way. Buying our music means you are helping us pay for our next album, tour etc. Please do send us your recommendations.

One of the most important bands ever IMO. Supporting them in London and Leeds was one of our most memorable and fun adventures. Such a lovely gang.
46 years and counting for ESG, who have arguably had a helping hand in shaping the sound of every decade since then. I chatted with Renee about the group’s history and infinite influence. For @DJmag djmag.com/features/esgs-infi…

I could use my lovely blue tick to go off on some thousand word diatribe about how beyond awful these low-lying scoundrels are, but instead I’ll just stick with: register to vote, make sure you have the right ID to vote, and vote.
The fucking state of this. Honestly, give me fucking strength.

Absolutely shameful.
The UK government has rejected the recommendations suggested by the Misogyny In Music report in January
The recommendations included implementing protections against discrimination for freelancers and prohibiting the use of NDAs in sexual abuse cases bit.ly/49QfXQl
