During the early years, Geddy played Rickenbacker 4080 double neck bass. It is most notably played on "A Passage to Bangkok" off RUSH's 1976 album "2112."

Neil playing the bongos while wearing a Compton hat. The Compton hat makes sense. He's more OG than any of us.

"I don't take for granted that people just admire what we do. So whatever we do, they'll admire. Every audience we have to do that. We have to earn their dedication and expenditure of time and energy and money to be there every single time."

While it may not have been as commercially successful as other albums, it achieved gold status in the United States. It also has a cult following. What's your favourite song on the album?
Because of this picture, Neil's height has been noted by fans.

RUSH - Tom Sawyer (Acoustic Cover by MELANIE MAU & MARTIN SCHNELLA) youtu.be/tU-FiFkwY3g?si=8ZR4… - Here is an acoustic cover of "Tom Sawyer." The vocals are phenomenal. The guitar work is next level. It's unique. Something different than your usual cover.

While Neil had social anxiety, he still lived an amazing lived not just as musician but in other facets of his life.
A lot of his travels have been documented, but sit and listen to his untold stories of his travels would be an honour and privilege.

The stories of traveling the back roads of North America to small towns is what he loved to do.
He loved the diners and small town pubs where he could sit and talk to people who didn't know who he was.

A lesson we could take from Neil is to not just do the touristy stuff, but go off the beaten path a little. You may end with experiences and memories to last a lifetime.
