A groundbreaking study on how the stem cell heterogeneity of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients at diagnosis effects the response to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). 🧬🔬
Congratulations to Fatemeh Mojgan Safi for brilliantly defending her thesis on HSC lineage priming and CD9 @Lund_Stem! Great discussion with opponent Kim Theilgaard-Mönch. #science #research #PhD #thesisdefense #LundStemCellCenter

1/7 We are delighted to introduce Scarf, a single-cell analysis toolkit that puts atlas-scale datasets within the reach of all scientists, requiring just a laptop. One can process scRNA-Seq data of 4 million cells using less than 16GB of RAM.
Preprint: doi.org/10.1101/2021.05.02.4…
6/7 Scarf also includes functionality to integrate datasets using KNN projection, allowing researchers to investigate how their results compare to huge single-cell expression atlases - all at low memory consumption.
7/7 Scarf is made possible through funding by @barncancerfond @KAWstiftelsen @Vetenskapsradet @Cancerfonden
