Kwesi Sorotu Badori (18, DM) scored an incredible goal for Bologna U20s over the weekend 🔥 He’s definitely one to watch. He had a really good preseason with the first team, hopefully they call him up again this season. 🇬🇭

And we can’t even get one good pitch and a separate training facility for our players.
Introducing: SGP 2.0 🙌 St. George’s Park is about to enter the next phase of major works that will transform the national football centre in time for UEFA EURO 2028 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

There’s a strange Semenyo agenda that’s started this international break. He’s literally always showed up when called but apparently he shows up when he wants. I guess we should expect answers from Kudus, Jordan and anyone else who also plays this weekend
I love Semenyo but if he plays for Man City this weekend, man will have a lot of explanation to do in the future. He's the most in-form Ghanaian in the world but he should not be allowed to show up when he wants.

We can’t do this because the youth teams get filled with players from certain peoples clubs One of biggest issues we’ve got right now. How do talented young players move to top clubs in Europe but somehow never played in the youth teams?
No great surprise with Alex Scott taking international football in his stride. Importance of development through England age groups (33 appearances). Won the Under-19 Euros in 2022, won the Under-21s in 2025 where he built a good midfield understanding with Elliot Anderson - now seen for the seniors. Scott been building for this moment and beyond.  Shows the importance of persistence - to overcome injuries and persistence on the club pathway, too. Determination hardened after early frustrations in academies, then developing at Guernsey, seizing his chance at Bristol City, praised by Pep as an “unbelievable player” after a Cup tie, and developed further under Iraola at Bournemouth. Rises to the occasion in big games. As seen against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United. Importance of versatility: Scott has played 6, 8, 10 (plus even wing-back at Bristol City).  Also the importance of enlightened coaches and recruiters taking a chance and giving him an opportunity. Guernsey, Bristol City (Brian Tinnion, Nigel Pearson) and Bournemouth (following a knee injury). Importance of the pyramid in player development, too. Another big talent that Thomas Tuchel can call upon. And only 23. #ENG

This is the problem with results-driven appointments & highlights how poorly the GFA are operating. Queiroz is totally different to the DNA & his WC “results” were based on luck as much as quality. Couldn’t adjust in a different context & now gone with Ghana halfway out of AFCON.
A very reasonable statement from Queiroz, but what a mess. With an AFCON in 2027 & 2028, it’s arguable that the WC (a 5-week camp) & this longer, 2-3 week international window have been wasted on a coach who did not match the identity of his players or incumbent staff. Who now?

Kurt “Nkrumah” Okraku. AKA “football person”: -Sacks managers who HE chose yet no responsibility falls on him -Overseen our worst period at tournaments and failures to qualify - Youth teams have been failing - Loves camera/media attention - Wants a 3rd term He should be gone!

Carlos is not good enough and should be sacked. But no manager can survive this FA.
NEW: The Black Stars players have left camp this morning, with news having been communicated to them that the Morocco friendly is off. This just goes to show how disorganized the FA continues to be. They had weeks to plan an international window that FIFA allowed four games to be played. Tanzania announced a friendly which did not happen, and now the Morocco game is off. Carlos Queiroz, who needs help now more than ever, missed out on the chance to play two friendlies to get to know the team.

Just sacking him may not be enough.
"When I'm gone, just like Kwame Nkrumah, people will appreciate. People will not only appreciate but remember the good things we did for Ghana football " - GFA President Kurt Okraku #3Sports

Ghana vs Gambia - A defensive coach overseeing a game we lose 4-2 after being ahead 2-0 -Ernest Nuamah was pretty much the only positive -Fatawu proving again he’s not good enough - CBs showing why defending in a low block with protection all around at the WC didn’t mean much
