According to CoinMarketCap, there are 63.58 million cryptocurrencies, yet no project comes close to what Kaspa is building. This project exists, and people are sleeping on it.

Major milestone for the Kaspa Privacy Initiative! 🎉
We just demonstrated autonomous recovery of native test KAS on Kaspa L1.
After physically switching off the original computer, a second machine independently found the remaining reserve, generated a fresh ZK proof and successfully withdrew the KAS on TN10.
No intervention from the original machine. No privileged withdrawal key.
This is a major step toward something essential for private KAS: being able to recover your funds even when the original infrastructure disappears.
Not a shielded pool yet, not audited, and more A1 tests remain. But a critical piece of the foundation now works!

Did a deeper dive into the kaspa:native supply.
Roughly 27.7B KAS is circulating and only around 6.1B sits in known exchange wallets.
That means roughly 21.6B KAS around 78% of the circulating supply is outside identified exchanges.
Even more interesting, the scary-looking “top 10 wallets own 25%” stat is misleading because 9 of the top 10 are exchange wallets holding KAS for thousands of users.
There’s also one massive non-exchange wallet holding around 1.5B KAS, with a huge amount appearing to have been withdrawn from exchanges.
Kaspa supply is a lot more interesting once you actually look under the hood. 👀
BULLISH $KAS
😂 $ZKAS
It’s finished.
Over the past weeks, I’ve been working on a video about Kaspa. Not just about speed, but about the idea behind it, the technology that makes it different, and what can now be built on top of it.
From BlockDAG and GHOSTDAG to programmability on Layer 1, this is my attempt to tell that story in a way that goes beyond technical specifications.
Built with respect for the people who made it possible.
A sincere thank you to the developers, researchers, and contributors who continue to build, refine, and push Kaspa forward.

the first vprog on kaspa
Tic-tac-toe is live on Kaspa testnet: the first vprog, a verifiable program with real execution and real settlement, running since yesterday.
You can play it here: vprogs-tt.izio.fr/
(Requires private key and some testnet funds)
We still need to review and merge a stack of PRs, however this is already a working POC. UI/UX was never a priority; the frontend can be enhanced or built separately
I'm gonna work on mdBook covering the parts of the system I consider meaningful and a workshop on vprogs and building apps on top
For Devs: this is the invitation. Play the game, read the code, build your own vprog.

Bitcoiners are starting to realize Lightning and Liquid are not in fact Bitcoin
At the same time, $KAS started pumping 18% right after the "white hat" Liquid Network hack
I don't think this is coincidence.
More are realizing why sound money needs to be used on the trustless, decentralized base layer, not on layer 2s.
$KAS is end game whether you like it or not
So $zec a simple fork of bitcoin with a privacy layer added to it passed $15B mcap and going higher with a multi year vulnerability where someone could’ve manipulated minted and hold unlimited zcash to sell at any given time and no one will ever know if it happened or not because of that privacy layer
And then you have kaspa:native which I will keep on saying is a literal optimization of the $btc consensus, in plain English this means there can never be a pure proof of work that functions more efficiently than $kas will after DAGKnight and is sitting comfortably below a 1B mcapitalization 😂
Y’all gotta think bigger. More and more people are realizing what kaspa is quickly
The community is the largest on CT and it’s not close I think. New retail when they come in mass will look for a coin to buy and they will see kaspa everywhere
Through the two year 88% top to bottom kaspa bear market a community should’ve went ghost, instead it grew in mass
This was always going to happen. 1 large exchange has to list it *cough @Gemini cough* and then it’ll force the hand and It’ll be on every exchange by the end of this cycle
Just a matter of time now

When I first heard of $KASPA in early 2024, $KAS was $.17. I "Aped in!" $10K USD! Didn't even know what it meant at the time to "Ape in!" I was a "Normie." Bought $BTC and $ETH for the 1st time in early 2021. Was looking for the next $BTC or $DODGE. Heard of all these overnight millionaires. I'm like why not me???
I'm #GenerationX! I've been grinding since 1972 before grinding .... was grinding!
Found $SHIB spring of 2021. I became a $SHIB MAXI! Swapped all my normie coins into $SHIB. Didn't know the difference between Proof of Work or Proof of Stake!
I just knew I needed to get in "EARLY!"
Fast forward after watching my $SHIB bag go from $7,000 to $90,000 late 2021, then all the way back down to $7,000 or less, I went into the PTSD crypto winter for a couple years.
I didn't' even know there was a "Cycle!" I thought I was going to be a $SHIB millionaire!
Early 2024, I start checking back up on my crypto accounts, started watching crypto Youtube again.
I see this young crypto influencer saying "I just bought another 25,000 of $KASPA".... and he starts going into the details, Proof of Work, No VC's, No Pre allocation to Devs or Insiders!" I never heard of anyone so passionate about a crypto currency!
This is where I started listening, researching, following anyone that could tell me about $KASPA. This was my $WTF is $KAS moment and where do I buy it, and when I started to know the difference between POW and POS....and my crypto education and research really began here!
I learned about $KAS, Aped in, and a couple months later, heard about #KRC20 launch, and friggen learned how to mint and OTC. $GHOAD, $NACHO and $KASPER.
I've been stacking $KAS for almost 2 years. Seen the ups and downs, but I have to tell you, $KASPA won me over. I know deep down in my heart, this is the "Next biggest thing in crypto!" Actually the next transfer of wealth!
Yes I wish I knew about $BTC earlier, but I'm Gen X, I don't have 20 years to wait for $BTC to 10 or 20X from here. But $KAS is still early, and I know it is going to 20-100X quicker than $BTC. Both POW, but $KAS is better and faster. Don't take anybody's word for it. Do your own research. Your financial future depends on it!

WSX News 🚨: Kaspa is taking a different approach to Proof of Work economics by avoiding traditional halving events and instead reducing block emissions through a gradual monthly schedule.
Unlike networks that periodically cut mining rewards in half, Kaspa's smoother emission curve is designed to prevent sudden revenue shocks for miners while also reducing the impact of scheduled supply events on the market.
Around 96% of the network's 28.7 billion $KAS supply has already been mined, meaning the remaining issuance represents only a relatively small portion of the total supply.
The emission model, designed by @hashdag, could give Kaspa a more predictable supply trajectory and sets the project apart from the conventional halving-driven model used by many Proof of Work blockchains.

We are excited to announce the peak of Kaspa wallets finally arrived: Kaspire Wallet, a covenant-ready, fully open-source and secure Kaspa wallet built without compromises.
Designed from the ground up for security and usability, Kaspire gives you complete control over your assets while supporting everything the Kaspa ecosystem has to offer. Kaspire is the first covenant-ready Kaspa wallet to support all L1 assets, encrypted WalletConnect v2 (which leading crypto wallets like MetaMask utilize) for mobile and desktop (for the app), BIP39 passphrases and Argon2id-encryption for industry-leading protection of your wallet data. The entire project is open source because in crypto, trust should always be earned through verification, not promises.
Kaspire is available as an Android app and as a browser extension for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers.

A quick deepdive into Kaspire:
Privacy and usability
Kaspire includes:
- optional balance hiding
- a main-screen privacy toggle
- configurable fiat currencies
- configurable automatic locking
- an address book
- recipient allowlisting
- a list of the user’s own wallets when choosing recipients
- UTXO count and consolidation
- editable wallet and contact names
- multiple visual themes
- built-in QR scanning
- flashlight controls for QR scanners
- detailed network diagnostics
- dApp session management
- in-app update notifications
The interface is designed to make advanced Kaspa functionality understandable without hiding critical security information.
Fully open source
Kaspire is fully open source because trust in cryptocurrency software should be earned through verification, not promises.
Users and developers can inspect:
- wallet derivation
- entropy generation
- native Rust signing
- transaction policies
- covenant validation
- backup encryption
- Android integration
- WalletConnect handling
- extension-provider methods
- build and release metadata
One wallet for the complete Kaspa L1 ecosystem. Kaspire supports:
- KAS
- KRC20 tokens
- KRC721 NFTs
- KNS domains
- Legacy KCC20 covenant tokens
- KRON-native KCC20 tokens
- PSKT flows
- Direct browser dApp connections
- Encrypted WalletConnect v2 connections for mobile and desktop
Kaspire for Android
The Android application offers a complete native mobile-wallet experience, including encrypted WalletConnect sessions. Mobile websites can open Kaspire directly through verified Android App Links. Desktop dApps can display a Kaspire-specific WalletConnect QR code, which users scan from inside the app. Every connection and signing request still requires explicit approval.
Kaspire Browser Extension
The browser extension provides the same wallet ecosystem through a traditional injected provider.
Websites can connect directly to the extension without WalletConnect, QR codes or relay infrastructure. Permissions are bound to the exact requesting web origin, and unknown or unauthorized methods are rejected.
Wallet creation and recovery
Kaspire supports:
- 12- and 24-word wallets
- Optional BIP39 passphrases
- Private-key imports
- Watch-only wallets
- Multiple independent wallets
- Multiple BIP44 accounts
- Address-index subwallets for Kasware-compatible wallet support
- Modern Kaspa derivation paths
- Legacy web wallet derivation paths
The wallet distinguishes correctly between separate BIP44 accounts and address-index subwallets.
Secure entropy generation
New wallets are generated using cryptographically secure operating-system randomness. Kaspire does not derive entropy from:
- timestamps
- device identifiers
- serial numbers
- application-level pseudo-random generators
- predictable hardware values
The resulting entropy is processed inside Kaspire’s Rust security core and converted into a checksum-protected BIP39 recovery phrase.
Native Rust security boundary
Kaspire is designed around a central rule: Network services may provide data, but they are never trusted to decide what the wallet signs.
Sensitive wallet and transaction operations are handled by a native Rust security core based on pinned Rusty Kaspa components.
The Flutter interface does not construct arbitrary signed transactions. Instead, it sends a typed request to the native core. The core reconstructs the transaction, validates it and produces a deterministic review containing the information the user is expected to approve.
Depending on the operation, this includes:
- sender
- recipient
- asset
- amount
- network fee
- inputs and outputs
- change
- transaction mass
- token operation
- covenant ID
- covenant template hash
- covenant inputs and outputs
- reserve top-up
- KAS held in token cells
The resulting review is cryptographically bound to the signing operation. If the transaction changes after review, the authorization no longer matches and signing fails.
Kaspire does not expose a generic unrestricted signing endpoint. Supported operations use typed policies for:
- KAS payments
- KRC20 transfers
- KRC721 transfers
- KNS transfers
- KCC20 covenant transfers
- KIP-5 personal messages
- reviewed PSKT transactions
Unknown operations and unsupported transaction structures fail closed. This makes Kaspire suitable for more advanced applications such as marketplaces, covenant vaults and other dApps without turning the wallet into a blind signer.
KCC20 and covenant security
Kaspire supports both legacy KCC20 assets and KRON-native covenant tokens. KCC20 signing requires complete cell information. Indexer data alone is not trusted. Before signing, Kaspire verifies the referenced covenant cells against its own Kaspa node.
Checks include:
- covenant identity
- unique transaction outpoints
- cell value
- token balance conservation
- script public key
- redeem script where required
- current UTXO existence
- current spendability
- ownership transition
- template requirements
- KAS reserve requirements
If an indexer reports an outdated cell that the node no longer considers spendable, Kaspire refuses to sign.
Kaspire validates network responses before using them for signing. The wallet checks:
- UTXO ownership
- duplicate outpoints
- malformed UTXOs
- impossible or negative values
- sender scripts
- recipient outputs
- change outputs
- fees
- transaction mass
- token quantities
- covenant transitions
- locally calculated transaction IDs
After signing, the locally calculated transaction ID is compared with the broadcaster’s response. A mismatching result is rejected. This security model helps protect users against outdated, defective or manipulated RPC and indexer responses.
Hardware-backed encrypted storage
On Android, secret wallet material is encrypted using AES-256-GCM with keys protected through Android Keystore. Where supported by the device, Kaspire can use hardware-backed storage or StrongBox. The application reports the available protection level instead of silently claiming hardware protection when the device cannot provide it. Sensitive material is kept behind the native Android and Rust boundary wherever possible.
Sensitive operations require fresh user authorization through:
- strong biometrics
- device credentials
- or a dedicated Kaspire PIN
Argon2id-encrypted backups
Kaspire backups use the versioned kaspire-backup-v2format. The backup password is processed using Argon2id v1.3 with:
- 32 MiB of memory
- three passes
- parallelism of one
- a random 32-byte salt
- a 256-bit derived key
The resulting key encrypts and authenticates the backup using AES-256-GCM.
Argon2id is memory-hard. Its iteration count should not be compared directly with PBKDF2 because every Argon2id pass processes the configured memory region.
Encrypted backups preserve the information required to restore registered wallets, accounts, subwallets and individual derivation paths.
