Tree Musketeers' Community Tree Nursery has won another @GreenFlagAward.
We grow trees we plant in Hackney's parks & elsewhere. We teach volunteers, record wildlife (2 new species of solitary bee this year), manage a forest garden & #WickWoodland. 20 years old & still growing.

Tree Musketeers and @GGHackney teamed up to today mulch 90 young trees on Well Street Common.
Mulch keeps soil moist, reduces competition and nurtures soil organisms. It is key to sustainable tree establishment reducing the need for watering.

Yesterday our friends at @GGHackney helped out an older neighbour with some grocery shopping, so she has everything she needs for the #EasterWeekend. We'll be continuing to help our older neighbours through practical support, forging social connections, and partnership working!🌻
