On occasion of the Intl. Day for the Total Elimination of #NuclearWeapons #IDTENW, the @GENetwork is at the film screening of "67 Bombs to Enid", a documentary about survivors, 80 years after the first nuclear weapons testing in #MarshallIslands, who relocated to rural America.
"It speaks to the lived reality, that have shared our pain and suffering, living through the consequences of nuclear testing. We will not forget, we will not stop and we will have justice."
"A world free of nuclear weapons is the ultimate justice for all its victims, including those from the #MarshallIslands. Whatever testimony we will see today will change you to speak more for those who cannot speak."
