It’s hard to believe that Julius Caesar posted this over 2000 years ago and it still holds true today.

This Christmas, may we remember the quiet miracle of that first night in Bethlehem—the infinite becoming finite, love Himself stepping into our world to redeem it. May the joy of angels, the peace of the manger, and the hope of that guiding star fill your hearts and homes. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Where, I wonder, are those who cry that black lives matter? For here was a soul—bright as a star and delicate as a flower—snatched from this world by the negligence of those entrusted with its care. This little one, a reflection of God’s own image, now rests beyond our reach. Yet in the eternal garden, her light will not fade. She is not lost to us entirely, for her true home lies with Him who never fails the innocent. May we see in her passing not just a tragedy, but a call to cherish and protect all who bear the divine imprint.

Is there anything in all the world so enchanting as the unbidden smile of a child? It is as if heaven itself has lent a fragment of its joy, lighting up the world with a warmth that words cannot hold.

I am not married, but I imagine that if I were, each new day her smile would be like the golden sunrise—fresh and radiant, as though the world itself were renewed in her presence. I suspect that such love would deepen with every passing day, anchoring my heart and giving me strength to turn away from all temptations. For who would willingly darken the beauty of the sunrise, knowing its light was their greatest joy?

This is adorable.
Children learn what they live. When morning sickness overcame this mom, her toddler stepped in to provide comfort and support - modeling the very same language and behavior to which she, herself, has grown accustomed. There’s nothing being given here that this sweet little one hasn’t also received in abundance - and that’s a beautiful tribute to mom herself. Want your child to be a model of kindness? Compassion? Be a living example. (And feel better mom.) This little apprentice in caring was shared to TT by katherinexhagen.

That’s so cute. 🥰🥰🥰
Boop! So taken by how this little one steps in to comfort her crying sister. Watch carefully and you’ll see that she models behaviors that have almost certainly been used to comfort and distract her during times of sadness. She comes in close to make eye contact. She offers a playful boop on the nose to elicit a laugh. And then closes the deal with a much-needed hug. In all things, babies learn from the examples set by others. It’s clear that this little one has some outstanding - and emotionally intelligent - role models. I’m betting that big sister is one of them. Video via aguilaralba10 on X.
