We do not get to choose the trials and struggles that God uses to shape our lives! We just have to know that if we do not quit, we will come forth as precious a diamond when He is finished!

For seven days... David fasted. He wept. He lay on the ground, begging God to spare his child. The same David who ran toward Goliath... was now begging God to save his own son. And on the seventh day... his son died. His servants were afraid to tell him. But David noticed. "Is the child dead?" "He is dead." And then something happened I still struggle to understand. David got up. Washed himself. Changed his clothes. And went into the house of the LORD... and worshiped. Meditate on that for a second. David begged God for a different ending. But when the answer wasn't what he wanted... he still went looking for God. Because maybe David's greatest act of faith wasn't the seven days he spent praying. It was the day he got up and worshiped the God who hadn't given him the answer he wanted.

The UK is a nation of stability and contradiction. A country that gave the world parliamentary democracy, the Industrial Revolution, and the English language, yet constantly debates its identity, economy, immigration, and place in a changing world. Politically, institutions are strong, elections are trusted, and power changes hands peacefully. Yet public frustration over living costs, public services, housing, and political promises is a constant feature of national life. Religiously, the UK is historically Christian but increasingly secular and multicultural. Churches, mosques, temples, synagogues, and people of no faith coexist in a society that generally values tolerance and personal freedom. Socially, the UK values privacy, politeness, and order. Queuing is practically a national sport. Community often exists quietly through local groups, pubs, charities, football clubs, and neighbourhood networks. Economically, it remains one of the world's major financial centres. London attracts talent and investment globally, while debates continue about regional inequality, productivity, housing affordability, and economic growth. Culturally, Britain's influence far exceeds its size. From Shakespeare and The Beatles to the Premier League, the BBC, fashion, literature, and higher education, British culture reaches every corner of the globe. Daily life is built around routine, rules, and institutions. Public transport, healthcare, schools, and local councils form the backbone of society, even as citizens regularly complain about all of them. The UK is a country where tradition meets modernity, institutions outweigh personalities, diversity shapes identity, and stability often hides deep social and economic debates. 🇬🇧

Pastor Poju oyemade was in south africa ,came to Kenya ,he is now in Nigeria ministering Pastor Jerry Eze had a prayer meeting in UK yesterday and is already back in Nigeria, ministering today Sunday service Apostle Joshua Selman was ministering in South Africa yesterday. He is back in Nigeria today, hosting Miracle Service. Minister Mercy Chinwo was at NSPPD in Manchester yesterday, and today she will be in Kenya ministering. Pastor Paul Enenche was in Uganda, travelled back to Nigeria, and is now ministering at Apostle Michael Orokpo’s meeting. Honestly, I don't understand where these ministers get the energy! 😂 The travelling alone is something else. Different countries, different time zones, flights, little rest—and they still show up looking fresh, full of strength, and ready to minister to people. There is a grace for the assignment. We may see the stage, the microphones, the crowds and the powerful ministrations, but there is a price of labour behind it that many people never see. May the Lord continually strengthen every man and woman of God who is labouring for the Kingdom. May their bodies be strengthened, may their families be preserved, may their travels be safe, and may they never minister from an empty spiritual reservoir. May their labour of love never be in vain. May they finish their race well and fulfil everything God has committed into their hands. Amen. 🙏🏾

Apostle Michael Orokpo cancelled the ordination of pastors and apostles after receiving counsel from Dr. David Ogbueli. I have listened carefully to what Dr. Ogbueli said, and I totally agree with the counsel. If we continue ordaining people into ministry without proper scrutiny and accountability, we may create a serious problem for the African Church in the years to come. There is also something important we can learn from Apostle Michael Orokpo: the humility to receive correction and counsel from another man of God. Not every leader is willing to pause, listen and reconsider a decision. Dr. David Ogbueli has previously shared a very important counsel: before laying hands on someone for ordination, the spouse should be given an opportunity to write about the person. Why? Because we should not lay hands on someone and publicly affirm them into ministry only to discover later that there are serious issues hidden in their private life. He has also counselled that churches should publicly announce an upcoming ordination and give people an opportunity to raise legitimate concerns or objections before the person is ordained. I totally agree with this. With the growing number of young people desiring to be ordained into ministry, we must become more careful, more prayerful and more thorough in our discernment. Ordination is not simply a title. It is a public recognition of a calling, character and responsibility. We cannot afford to lay hands on everyone who desires a title. The Church must learn to examine character, family life, accountability, doctrine and fruit before publicly commissioning people into ministry. May God give our spiritual leaders wisdom, courage and discernment.

The future of South Western Uganda must be built, not imagined. Today at the Ankole Real Estate & Infrastructure Conference at Igongo Country Hotel, I shared a vision that goes beyond a coffee factory. At @africoffeepark, we are thinking about what the next generation of cities in Uganda can look like productive, connected, innovative and inclusive. Our vision for Africa Coffee City brings together a Special Economic Zone, an airport, a Coffee Resort, an IT Hub and modern housing that gives ordinary Ugandans an opportunity to own a home with a model that could allow a $30,000 house to be paid for over 15 years. This is about more than buildings. It is about creating an ecosystem where people can work, live, invest, innovate and thrive. I believe Western Uganda has the potential to become one of Africa's great economic growth corridors. The Africa Coffee City is our contribution to that future. – at Mbarara, Uganda

While air bound this evening, I reflected on - The power of the office "All men are loyal, but their objects of allegiance are at best approximate" ~ John Barth While you still occupy an office, people call you Papa, Boss, Sir, Mum. They stand up on your arrival, open car/office doors for you, handle all your logistics and even take notes as you speak. Most time, these titles and privileges get into the head of the leader and becomes their new way of life. What people forget is that it’s not who they are; those titles only exist because of the office. The day the office goes away, all the honor and privileges shift to the new leader immediately and real life sets in. That’s the main reason why most people will do everything possible, to keep the office: The Fear of what comes after. Redeem yourself from this curse. #Moshehzdiary

Yeshua The name “Jesus” in Greek is Ἰησοῦς, which is derived from the Hebrew name Yehoshua, which in English is written as Joshua. In later Biblical Hebrew, it was often shortened to Yeshua. If you follow the historical development of the name across the centuries, we thus get: -early biblical Hebrew: Yehoshua (=Joshua) -later biblical Hebrew: Yeshua (or Y’shua) -Greek: Iēsous -Latin: Iesus -Modern English: Jesus The Hebrew name is based on the verb yasha (ישׁע), which means to save, deliver, or rescue. When God “yashas” in the OT, it’s almost always a physical, earthy, tangible rescue, not a spiritualized or abstract salvation. He “yashas” Israel from her enemies. He “yashas” from death. He “yashas” from sickness, plagues, and famine. As we saw in one of the chapters we read today in Bible in One Year (1517.org/oneyear ), when the Messiah is born, he is given the name Jesus “for he will save his people from their sins,” (Matthew 1:21). Given the Hebrew background of the name, and the activities of Jesus in his ministry, the word “sins” must be understood broadly, as in the effects of sin in a fallen world. Jesus does save us from our sins (as in transgressions of the Law), but he also saves us from sickness, demon possession, despair, and death. He comes to save us entirely, physically and spiritually, for he delivers the whole person. “The entire ministry of Jesus was thus a commentary on his name,” (Marvin Wilson). In him, this one who embodies God’s salvation, we are healed, rescued, saved, delivered—the full revelation of which will come in the resurrection of all flesh.
