Perhaps a good example to look at with classes? Beryl: the Hurricane that is continually being called 'absurd'! #GeographyTeacher
This is unreal. Hurricane Beryl continues to defy all know logic, now becoming the first June Category 4 hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin. I can't even stress enough just how completely absurd that storm is.

This is a helpful model! #GeographyTeacher
Toe removal landslide model making its way into an actual presentation…I really like the initial movement phase on this one. Reactivation with toe removal continues until the slide block breaks up due to slight changes in slide plane dip. Glass microbead sliding horizon.

An excellent example of glacial fluctuations over time #GeographyTeacher
Throwback to the former beauty of this now reshaped valley, which hosted most aesthetic Swiss glacier for me! 🗻❄️🪨 #Tschierva glacier with Piz #Bernina (4049 m asl), Piz #Scerscen (3971 m asl) and Piz #Roseg (3937 m asl) as seen from Alp Ota (2257 m asl) 1895 | 2004 | 2021

An interesting one for #GeographyTeacher - Earthquakes in the UK!?
Did you know that BGS detects as many as 300 UK earthquakes each year? These are typically quite small, but larger events exceeding magnitude 5 can occur. Seismologist Dr Brian Baptie discusses the last significant earthquake to hit the UK and how it affected the country.

There’s so much geography in episode three!
Opened my @The_GA presidential lecture today with a call to shun imposter syndrome and to be what @hannah_ajala calls positively delusional! Go forth and sign up for opportunities. Present at the next conference! Speak it into existence! Do also check out bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/w3ct4p…
