Karoline Leavitt fired back at Reverend Al Sharpton after he called her a "white nationalist" and a "fake Christian."
"My family came here specifically to worship freely, and then we fought bravely for the Union to end slavery," said Leavitt, "Yours came from Trinidad about 20 years later."
Leavitt went on to remind Sharpton that there are two union forts named for her family and a 150-year-old battleship called the USS Leavitt moored in Boston.
"I think my credentials are solid."

After four years one the Corps, I got a studio flat in Ann Arbor, MI and slept on a sleeping bag.
I was able to get my bachelor’s degree and now my family and I own over 80 acres, raise our own cattle and own our own home.
I had a young person ask me, “how did you get all of this?”.
I replied, “you have to have an unrelenting focus for what you want to accomplish”.
