My dad worked in a supermarket, my mom was a secretary. Between them they managed to own their own home and send four kids through college. That was 40 years ago. No way they could have done that today.
25 years ago I should have been on the way to my office at 125 Broad St. in NYC’s financial district. Instead I was up in Hartford for a 2 day meeting. I bitched and moaned about that trip to anybody who would listen, but in the end I was glad I was there.
