While no amount of money can ever repay what J.R. and other survivors like her have been through, this verdict is a reminder of what can happen when victims are empowered to speak up and have their voices heard. I commend her for her courage and call on everyone to continue the work to end human trafficking in our state.

Dolly Parton, her exceptional talent and voice, and the kindness she demonstrated throughout her life and career are American treasures. As a daughter of a neighboring state, her loss is felt all the more in the South where she was so deeply loved. Her impact on this Earth reached far beyond the music industry, and her life and legacy will continue to be celebrated for generations to come.
She will be greatly missed, and the prayers of our family are with her loved ones and the entire State of Tennessee that proudly calls her their own.

Thanks to @AgCommHarperGA and his team, 23 dogs were saved from this outrageous and criminal situation. Animal cruelty has NO place in Georgia, and I'm grateful for efforts like this to put an end to it!
Thanks to the work of our @GaDeptAg Law Enforcement Division and our local, state, and federal law enforcement partners, 23 dogs were rescued and multiple firearms and suspected narcotics were seized during a joint operation in Crawford County.
